<h2>About the job</h2>Salary: £26,409 - £28,624 a year Hours per week: 37 Contract type: PermanentDo you enjoy working outside with minimal supervision, but as part of a team?We wish to strengthen our dynamic team of Civil Enforcement Officers serving the local community. You will be required to patrol and monitor all parking restrictions both on and off street ensuring adherence to all parking regulations in accordance with the Council’s parking policies and procedures.You should have excellent customer care experience, be confident, willing to assist and advise the public on all parking matters. You should also be able to demonstrate an ability to deal with people in difficult situations and be able to record written evidence in a pocket book that is legible.Working outside in all weathers, on your feet or in a mobile patrol, you will have legible handwriting and a full manual driving license would also be helpful.Hours of work are defined by management but will be shifts between 7am and 9pm. SAFETY WORKER - Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Intervention Positive Change Service – the domestic abuse intervention service for LBTH children’s social care – is seeking permanent Safety Worker to work with perpetrators of domestic abuse. This post is specified for facilitators a male worker as per an occupational requirement to enable us to use mix-gender co- in our groupwork with fathers.Positive Change Service delivers psycho-educational interventions with perpetrators, survivors and children impacted by domestic abuse. We are a creative, supportive and motivated team, working for systems change alongside personal change, to improve the lives of families in Tower Hamlets. The service is part of the Children’s Social Care, MASH and Assessment &amp; Intervention Service. We are currently looking for staff who are experienced in working with perpetrators, survivors and their children impacted on domestic abuse.The role of Safety Worker includes both group and individual work with clients, as well as liaising with other stakeholders such as referrers Our usual work with clients runs for around 6 months to a year. The work may involve a combination of assessment, groupwork, individual work and even co-parenting work between (ex)-partners. All of the work is aimed at increasing the safety of children and adult survivors of domestic abuse.We are self-reflective team, providing a strong level of clinical supervision, training and development. We are seeking a Safety Worker with some experience of delivering domestic abuse behaviour change work, and in working with parents towards children’s safety. You will be supported to develop your skills and expected to be open to ongoing learning.
