We’re looking for a Senior Auditor to join the Internal Audit team. Senior Internal Auditors undertake the planning and delivery of a variety of internal audit reviews of areas of Wirral Council’s services, policies and procedures. About the Role:
This is a great opportunity to develop your career in local government, within a forward-thinking and inventive Internal Audit team, working within an innovative and supportive Council.&nbsp; You will take responsibility for reviewing and evaluating a wide range of organisational functions and services including finance; social care; major infrastructure projects; high-value contracts; and complex partnership and joint working arrangements across the region. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will have responsibility for managing the delivery of your own varied portfolio of work, which may also include fraud investigations. About the Candidate:
Successful applicants will be passionate about improving the public sector. They will be team players and great communicators, with the desire to think innovatively and strategically about how to improve the way systems and services work, challenge current processes, and work closely with senior management and key stakeholders across the organisation. Previous experience in Internal Audit or finance&nbsp;is desirable but not essential, and we look forward to receiving applications from individuals with a range of transferable skills.
Successful candidates will either already be qualified or working towards a recognised professional qualification such as CCAB or CIIA or be able to demonstrate qualification to this level via an equivalent level of experience.

 This role will be part of the Commissioning and Performance service which sits within the Children, Families and Education directorate.The Analytics Developer will report to the Business Intelligence and Reports Development Lead and will support the aims of Children's Services to help improve outcomes for our children, young people, and families.The roleThe Analytics Developer will have responsibility for supporting the development, management and oversight of Portsmouth City Council's information, data and performance about children's services.
