The successful candidate will be required to register with the Building Safety Regulator and be working towards a successful competency assessment.
Your principal duties will include the inspection of site works and plan vetting, in order to ensure compliance with the Building Regulations, together with the assessment of dangerous structures.
The post will be based at our Magdalen House office in Bootle, although an agile working policy is in place. We offer flexible working hours, casual car user allowance and 28 days annual leave (rising to 33 days after 5 years service). The Bridge School are seeking an outstanding and inspirational Deputy Headteacher to join our senior leadership team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving forward our curriculum development, teaching and learning standards, and data-informed practice across the school. You will also have supportive oversight of our Vocation Centre, ensuring that our vocational offer continues to deliver meaningful, high-quality learning experiences and supports positive post-16 outcomes. Work closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders to shape strategic improvement priorities and ensure effective school self-evaluation. Contribute to the leadership of safeguarding, behaviour, and inclusion across the provision. Inspire, challenge, and support staff and pupils to achieve their full potential.
The Bridge School is a KS3 and KS4 Pupil Referral Unit for students who have been excluded from mainstream high schools or whom are at risk of exclusion. The Vocational Learning Centre initiative is designed to engage KS4 learners who require a practical curriculum or who may benefit from alternative learning arrangements. Many of the students experience Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, and often present with some additional special educational needs and barriers to learning. You will be required to present a skill set that meets this challenge.
High levels of attendance and participation, low Incident rates, sustainability of placement, the creation of sustained post 16 pathways, along with high student occupancy rates, will be continual indicators of performance. You will therefore lead the development and availability of an effective and vibrant curriculum that will work towards the achievement of these indicators.
Additionally, you will have oversite alongside the Associate Head, for the management and organisation of all commissioned alternative provision delivered by independent operators. Ensuring a robust quality assurance process that will support safeguarding, increase levels of attendance and engagement, and deliver improving accredited outcomes.
You will have whole school responsibilities regarding school culture and student conduct. The ability to respond to a wide range of challenging circumstances and incidents, both in a planned proactive way and a spontaneous responsive way, will be a facet of your leadership skills and confidence.

Testing and inspection of electrical systems, working with other trades to manage and complete works to a high standard. The successful candidates will become part of the Council’s Landlord Services Section, &nbsp;working in tenanted and void properties across the Charnwood area.

The energy services team is recruiting an energy officer to assist in the delivery of various decarbonisation projects as PCC continues on it's journey to net zero. We are looking for candidates with experience of providing legal advice relating to child protection issues and education matters. You will have good communication and IT skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team of solicitors and legal assistants. You will be confident in managing a full caseload of court proceedings and advice matters.&nbsp;
You will have the ability to work well under pressure and to manage a busy workload to tight deadlines.
Please note, that in order to be considered for this position, you must be a qualified and practising barrister, solicitor, legal executive (Fellow) or equivalent (subject to or awaiting QLTS).
