Outside of work I enjoy yoga, music, TV, and a good book (but not all at the same time!)"Debbie Green- Housing Options Manager<h4>What will you be doing?</h4><h4>Role Specific Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Managing requests for urgent moves, for example where properties become uninhabitable due to fire or flood, where properties are in disrepair or where agreed by Contracts &amp; Compliance or Asset Investment.</li><li>Manage referrals to hotels for temporary decants and monitor the timescales for works to be completed to ensure that TCH is being as cost effective as possible. Attend regular weekly meetings with Contracts &amp; Compliance and receive updates from Asset Investment to monitor.</li><li>Monitor and manage decant cases to avoid undue delay where properties are to be redeveloped or sold.</li><li>Work in close collaboration with other departments regarding requests for temporary or permanent decants.</li><li>Review and monitor waiting list for decants, urgent and preplanned, including rolling decants where advised by Asset Investment.</li><li>Work in close collaboration with local authorities and other registered providers keeping up to date with the widest range of moving options for residents requiring a decant, urgent or management move.</li><li>Provide a responsive service to customer enquiries; maintain regular contact and provide progress updates to ensure a seamless service is provided.</li><li>Work together with the Housing Options Manager and Housing Options Administrator to review empty homes that could be considered for urgent moves or decants.</li><li>Regularly review the decant budget in conjunction with the Housing Options Manager to ensure that it remains within budget requirements.</li><li>Manage the raising and authorisation of payments to residents for Disturbance or Home loss ensuring that payments are made in line with TCH Policy and Procedure and liaise with residents regarding the options available to them.</li><li>Manage subsistence payments for those tenants displaced from their home.</li><li>Liaise with and develop working relationships with external agencies and internally to enable the provision of appropriate support services for customers.</li><li>Review and monitor internal waiting lists for Exceptional Social Needs and Management Moves to establish chain lettings to address multiple tenants housing needs.</li><li>Work with and organise contractors on availability and costings from each service provider.</li><li>Organise and log all payments. Accounting all costs for budget purposes. The Community Support Team is looking for an experienced Community Nurse/Nursing Sister seeking work in a friendly and supportive team which provides excellent care for community members and service users in our new extra care facility Tussac House.
Tussac House, will support older adults to live independently in their own apartments while providing 24-hour care and assistance, who have a variety of care needs through to and including end of life care.
As well as supporting Tussac House, the Community Nursing Sister will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical care for members of the community in Stanley. This will include daily tasks such as wound care, medication, and assessment management. This role gives a high degree of autonomy, while utilising your nursing expertise.

The Spotlight Theatre are recruiting a Venue Technician with a sound bias. The Broxbourne Council venue, close to Hoddesdon High Street, has a host of first-class entertainment shows and events lined up with fun for all ages.
You will be responsible for the technical operation supporting The Spotlight’s busy events and entertainments programme.
You will ensure the smooth running of all technical aspects of productions (with a focus on sound), as well as support for a range of events including cinema, conferences and private functions. Duties involve rigging, setting up and operating sound/lighting and stage equipment according to the Venues busy programme.
This is a varied role including practical technical work and supervision of casual technicians. You will need to be great with people as well as having experience of large-scale technical work, including production experience.
You will have at least three years of experience working as a professional theatre technician in a multifunctional venue and have knowledge and experience of a broad range of technical theatre aspects such as sound, lighting, set building and stage management. You will have an in-depth knowledge of Health and Safety issues, good communication skills, and be a team player with the ability to work flexibly. Electrical installation and formal backstage technical qualifications are desirable.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English is essential in this post.

This is a key role in the delivery of Data Subject Access Requests (SARs), Freedom of Information (FOI’s), Environmental Information (EIR’s), Disclosure Requests and other individual information rights requests within statutory timescales on behalf of the Council. This role is expected to provide an efficient and effective service of parking enforcement in our borough car parks, in order to minimise Parking Contraventions through the issue of penalty charge notices in appropriate cases, in accordance with the Council’s objectives, policies and the Parking Order.
The candidate will hold the relevant qualification to carry out Civil Enforcement (Level 2 Award, City and Guilds), be conversant with Civil Enforcement legislation and procedures, and be polite and capable of representing a positive and helpful image for Spelthorne Borough Council to our residents and customers.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for customer facing posts.&nbsp; These posts fall within the scope of the Code of Practice on English language requirement for public sector workers.&nbsp; The Council, therefore, has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
