This includes upgrades, repairs to consumer units, rewiring, fault finding, and emergency lighting. You should be familiar with domestic electrical installations and have a solid understanding of 3-phase systems. Adherence to the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, BS 7671, and related guidelines is essential. You'll perform periodic inspections, testing, and complete necessary certifications in line with IEE Wiring Regulations. Compliance with BS 7671 and EAWR 1989 is a must. If qualified, you'll conduct PAT testing for electrical equipment. You must ensure all work is done to a high standard, leaving properties clean and tidy.
