We are a long-term generic adult team, working with people from 18 (or approaching 18 for transition cases) and their carers, covering the South of Amber Valley. The people we work with have social care needs resulting from a range of disabilities people with learning disability and autism, physical disability, and dementia. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005. Using person centred, strengths-based approaches we support people to identify and achieve their goals with a home first approach. Successful candidates must have knowledge and experience of making safeguarding personal.The team is busy yet supportive. The workers joining us will need the ability to prioritise competing demands, manage their time effectively, be resilient and reliable.
