We are seeking to recruit a 21 hour Outreach Support Worker to compliment our existing day support offer to adults with learning disabilities, Autism and dementia. This is an exciting new opportunity ideally suited to those who don't like two days being the same. If you have enthusiasm, are motivated and like a challenge, may be this role is for you.


Outreach Support Worker role will consist of supporting individuals at home, in the day service, assisting with medical appointments and telephone welfare calls. As these are new roles to our service, we anticipate the role may develop further over time, a willingness to adapt to the service and its users is therefore essential.


Applicants must be flexible, be able to work autonomously and across the borough confidently . The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills with service users, carers and professionals. Although this role involves lone-working in the main, the successful candidates will be working within a team. The role will also include electronic recording attending meetings and contribution to support plans.


An essential criteria for this role is being qualified to a minimum of NVQ L2, additional mandatory and essential training will be provided by St Helens Council as appropriate for this role. You will also be required to have full DBS clearance and you must have a full driving licence .
