Your first call, our priority.
As an Investigator in the Assessment and Investigation Unit at Leicestershire Police you’ll be the first point of contact for our community who need our help, providing support, trust and justice!
You’ll be part of a committed and dedicated team delivering a high-quality contact assessment and investigation service, resolving issues raised by members of the public, extrenal partners and our force.
It’s more than reviewing incidents, it’s about understanding risk, uncovering facts, and finding the resolution.
Using a variety of virtual platforms, including email, voice, digital chat, and video you’ll:
- Provide professional, specialist investigative service
- Build positive relationships and strengthen public confidence in policing
- Manage and resolve incidents with accuracy and care.
Salary: £27,204 - £30,333
How you’ll make an impact:
- Conduct the initial investigation into crime and incident reports
- Produce clear, accurate and evidential accounts
- Ensure all information is correctly recorded and updated on force systems
