We're looking for a friendly, organised and proactive School Administrative Assistant to join our welcoming team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

Every phone call answered, every visitor welcomed and every detail managed contributes to creating a positive experience for our pupils, parents and staff. If you enjoy variety, solving problems and being at the heart of school life, we'd love to hear from you.

    What you will be doing:

    • Providing a welcoming, professional reception service for pupils, parents, visitors and external partners.
    • Managing telephone calls, emails and day-to-day enquiries with confidence and efficiency.
    • Maintaining accurate pupil and staff records and supporting key administrative systems.
    • Supporting admissions, pupil enrolment and school communications.
    • Coordinating meetings, school events, parents' evenings and educational visits.
    • Managing school meal administration, including registers, payments and Free School Meals processes.
    • Producing reports and providing administrative support to the leadership team.
    • Ordering office supplies and helping ensure the school operates efficiently every day.
    • Supporting safeguarding processes by maintaining confidentiality and following school procedures at all times.

    We're looking for someone who

    • Has experience working in an administrative or customer-facing environment.
    • Is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
    • Has strong IT skills and is confident using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
    • Communicates professionally with children, families and colleagues.
    • Enjoys working as part of a team while also being able to work independently.
    • Is calm under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
    • Shares our commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and providing the very best experience for every child.
    • Experience working within a school or using Arbor or another Management Information System would be an advantage, but is not essential.
