What’s the role?
Housing Services Directorate is looking to appoint an Accommodation Assessment &amp; Lettings Team Leader to manage a team of six Accommodation Assessment &amp; Lettings Officers responsible for offering suitable accommodation under S188 and S193 duties. Successful management of this service area will ensure we deliver a high quality, customer-focused approach to our applicants eligible for homelessness assistance and continuous improvement and efficiency in the service delivery. In addition, you will ensure officers complete S208, enforce offer of suitable accommodation, correctly undertake the discharge of duty and complete all other tasks relevant to their role.

What we’re looking for
We are seeking an experienced Accommodation Assessment &amp; Lettings Team Leader with a good working knowledge of managing a team responsible for offering accommodation under S188 and S193, Part 6 &amp; 7 of the Housing Act 1996, Homelessness Act 2002 and Localism Act 2011 and its application. You must have knowledge and understanding of the activities, functions and processes involved in offering suitable accommodation under S188 and S193 as well as issuing discharge of duty decisions.

About the role
Our People and Culture team are hiring a Payroll and Pensions Administrator to join the team to support with ensuring our staff are paid efficiently, accurately, and on time. You will play a pivotal part of the team to support with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for all, coordinating effective and efficient end-to-end payroll and pensions administration, plus any additional relevant activities. You will utilise the tools and resources available to ensure we meet the needs of all our stakeholders and comply with legal matters. The role will further include:

<li>Taking ownership of administrative tasks in the payroll and pensions process, being the point of contact for enquiries in this area.</li>
<li>Supporting the administrative process of payroll and pensions, including with the database/system, ensure that any problems are identified with the relevant departments for effective resolution.</li>
<li>Ensure Full Payment Submissions (FPS) within tight deadlines and process for all adaptations are carried out in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Support relevant colleagues to ensure the correct payments, reports, and returns are made to HMRC, pension providers, and other bodies.</li>
<li>Work in collaboration with functions within the organisation to ensure consistency of information and process.</li>
<li>Ensure all data and reporting is updated in a timely manner across the relevant databases on a regular basis and fit the needs of the business.</li>

In this role, you will report to the Payroll and Pensions Manager, working alongside the wider People and Culture team which includes the Generalist team, Talent Acquisition team, Workforce Development, and Talent Development team. Once a month, we meet as a team and come together for a fun activity and collaborative working.

This is an area of the division with big ambition, as we have recently expanded our property licencing schemes and have seen an increase in applications from residents for support from our grants, specifically the Disabled Facilities Grant. Managing a service of up to 100 staff the post-holder will lead our ambitions to work proactively within the private rented sector to drive up standards and safety for Lewisham’s residents. With expertise in the legal framework of regulation and licensing, you’ll be at the forefront of operationalising our new licensing scheme, and will maximise their impact through innovative new approaches to engaging with our residents. You will also be responsible for utilising a home assistance grant of £2million a year to support our most vulnerable residents to live in safe and secure homes from which they can live independent lives. As a Homelessness Prevention Officer, you will be giving advice and support on accessing housing, assessing people’s circumstances to determine what rights they have and ultimately working to help people find somewhere to live.
To support this, you will have a strong knowledge of the main causes for homelessness and remedies available. You will also have a thorough understanding of the legislative framework from which we work and be able to apply this in your day-to-day work. &nbsp;&nbsp;
You will be collocated with SPFTS Mental Health Housing Team, working closely with SPFT teams, supporting those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to access accommodation.

Good communication, team working and partnership working skills are essential, as well as a good knowledge of the city and support services available.

As part of this, we’re looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Traffic Order Officer to lead on the preparation and management of permanent Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) that underpin our transport and public realm improvements. 
About the role 
As our Senior Traffic Order Officer, you will play a key part in enabling the delivery of a wide range of projects across Enfield. You’ll lead the drafting, checking and progression of permanent traffic orders in accordance with legislation, policy and best practice, ensuring they are robust, timely and compliant. You’ll work closely with colleagues across design, legal and transport planning teams, and liaise with enforcement, community engagement and highways staff to ensure traffic orders support delivery and are publicly accessible. 
Who we’re looking for 
We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of the legal frameworks and statutory processes that underpin TROs and rights of way orders. You’ll have an eye for detail, excellent organisation skills and the confidence to lead on technical drafting and process management. Experience working in a local authority or consultancy environment, and a good grasp of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Traffic Management Act 2004 and Highways Act 1980 is essential. 
You’ll be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, with a track record of managing deadlines and communicating clearly across a range of audiences.

About the role 
You’ll lead on the road safety aspects of projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with our transport planners, engineers and engagement teams, you’ll provide expert advice to ensure schemes comply with national and local standards – and align with our Vision Zero and Healthy Streets commitments. 
This is a key technical role within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll analyse road traffic collision data, develop safety interventions, lead Road Safety Audit (RSA) processes, and support wider policy and programme work. You’ll also work directly with stakeholders including Transport for London, the Metropolitan Police, and local communities. 
We’re always looking to improve what we do. This is a newly created role, and you’ll have the opportunity to shape how road safety is embedded into project delivery and the wider service. 
What we’re looking for 
We’re looking for someone with a strong grasp of road safety engineering, including collision analysis, RSA processes and relevant policy frameworks. You’ll be a confident communicator with the ability to translate technical insight into practical solutions. This role is within the Asset Management Department, reporting to the Senior Building Manager.
You will be working in Building Services Team and will be involved in the organisation and supervision of Knowle Green FM Officers to ensure effective and smooth operation of Knowle Green Council Offices.
You will support the Council in ensuring that building maintenance and facilities management (FM) meet detail of the required service delivery in terms of compliance, responsiveness, quality of service and workmanship. The role will have responsibility for ensuring that the Council meet its statutory compliance obligations in all areas including gas safety, water safety, asbestos, electrical safety, fire safety and lift/LOLER requirements.
You will be responsible for the preparation of monthly performance reports, extracting data and monitoring trends, particular around compliance, ensuring information is shared across Building Services Team using the data to identify when compliance tests/inspections are required for municipal properties. It’s an exciting time to join the Community Wellbeing team within Spelthorne. We developed and built temporary accommodation for families, and purpose built supported accommodation for single homeless residents and continue to look for opportunities for permanent and temporary housing solutions. We have just launched our ambitious Homelessness &amp; Rough Sleeping Strategy 2025-2030 which aims to end the use of bed and breakfast accommodation, promote independence and wellbeing, and maximise the use of the private rented sector for homelessness prevention and relief. We are working closely with partners to deliver innovative and appropriate options to facilitate discharge from hospital and prevent admissions.
In addition to all this, the Council is embarking on an ambitious housing delivery programme to meet the housing needs of local residents, including a significant proportion of affordable homes.
To support this work, we are looking for a new Strategic Lead for Housing. A large part of the role is to proactively engage with internal colleagues and external partners to enable affordable housing delivery. You will develop and lead the Council’s effective partnerships with Registered Providers and Homes England, as well as representing the housing service on internal development working groups in order to achieve this.
Together with your solid understanding of the economic and social issues that affect housing supply and demand locally, you will have a proven track record and significant experience in strategy policy and preparation. You will be an expert in housing and homelessness legislation as you will need to translate guidance, best practice, and case law into understandable and workable solutions.
You will be comfortable working with numbers and data in spreadsheets and databases and be able to translate the same into plain English for a variety of audiences. You will be able to use this data to not only drive business cases and funding bids, which will see new services commissioned in line with the Council’s strategic aims, but also to contract manage existing services. To do this effectively, you will need excellent ICT skills.
You will lead a small but effective team which you will be expected to coach and support. You will also support the Team Manager, Housing Options to ensure the Council’s statutory homelessness service is run according to legislation, statutory guidance, case law and best practice.

About the role… To ensure young people have the right support, at the right time for them to transition into adulthood and leave care. Duties will include:

<li>Assisting Social Workers and others in the implementation of assessment, intervention and pathway plans</li>
<li>To consult with care leavers in service planning and support them to develop their skills and confidence to make representations in various forums</li>
<li>Supporting care leavers with housing and other needs</li>
<li>To keep accurate records on young people and update information systems</li>
<li>To assist in the production of reports as required</li>
</ul>
The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.

The King Edward VII Memorial Hospital is looking for an experienced General Practitioner seeking work in a friendly and supportive team which provides excellent care for patients.
The King Edward VII Memorial Hospital is the principal healthcare facility in the Falkland Islands, providing primary care and a broad range of elective and emergency secondary care services.&nbsp; The hospital is well equipped with ambitious plans being developed to expand and upgrade facilities.
The hospital environment is one in which clinical staff have the time, resources, and support to provide the highest standards of care and to develop their careers.&nbsp; In addition to being supported to practise with a broad scope, clinical staff are encouraged and assisted to develop particular areas of clinical expertise.
This post involves undertaking the full spectrum of GP work and will consist of 10 sessions per week (no on-call), with 3 of these sessions being dedicated administration time. This role has no on-call requirement, with standard working hours being Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm. &nbsp;
The King Edward VII Memorial Hospital is a GP-led facility, with most of our physicians having an extended spectrum of practice that includes casualty, in-patient and on-call work. For this role however, we are looking for an experienced GP, on a two to four-year contract, who is able to help drive improvement in our Primary Care Department, particularly with reference to systems, processes and outcomes relating to chronic disease management.

We want to help our most vulnerable residents to get their lives firmly on track. Our Data Officer has a pivotal role in making sure New Hope is effective and meets individual’s needs. Supporting the staff to work towards success for our clients is vitally important. You will be part of a passionate substance misuse recovery focused group of individuals, who work together and provide care and support to vulnerable adults and young people in Bracknell Forest to achieve their goals.
<h3>Key responsibilities…</h3>
<ul>
<li>To set up a system with the staff whereby all data to be recorded on to the NDTMS is provided in a timely manner and set reminders and deadlines for updates to be provided. To record all relevant information on the NDTMS, submit the data on a monthly basis and rectify any data quality issues prior to the final submission.</li>
<li>To ensure that any issues with the data that are highlighted to staff and that they are supported to rectify any issues.</li>
<li>To prepare monthly and quarterly reports based on local activity date for dissemination to senior staff within the council, elected members (if requested) and colleagues within the team. Highlighting any service deficits in a timely way.</li>
<li>To collate the data required for the annual needs assessment, analyse it and complete the assessment highlighting any gaps in services to inform future plans.</li>
<li>To provide training to staff on data systems as required.</li>
</ul>
