Personal Advisor Leaving Care - 12 month fixed term contract
About the Role:
Wirral Leaving Care Service is looking for a dynamic individual who is genuinely passionate about the welfare of our Care Leavers aged 16 - 25; and who will go the extra mile to ensure our young people are safe and achieve their full potential, in all respects.
About the Candidate:
Applicants should have experience of working with the 16 - 25 age group and have a relevant qualification at A-Level or higher. This is an exciting period when Personal Advisors will continue to work with their own individual caseload of young people aged 16 to 25; but also develop, support, participate in and lead project work with groups of young people and other professionals.
Wirral Leaving Care Service was the subject of an Ofsted focused visit in 2024 and has made considerable progress. We are determined to continue to make further progress and improve the support we offer to our young people.
We have a dedicated Hub building for our Care Leavers in central Birkenhead, 'Our Space' / N0 19, which has become the focus and location for much of our new developments, services, and our Leaving Care community.
This role isn't for the faint hearted but if you really care about the welfare of young people, it may be exactly what you are looking for. It can be both a really challenging and really rewarding job with no two days ever the same.

A Midday Supervisor is one of a team of school staff who are responsible for pupil supervision during the midday break. The post holder will be supervised on a day-to-day basis by our Senior Midday Supervisor.
During the midday break the Midday Supervisor will be responsible for:

Candidate Requirements

<li>You are knowledgable about the Child First framework, trauma informed approaches. It is also desireable that you have knowledge of relevant criminal youth justice legislation, National Standards for Children in Youth Justice and Youth Justice Board best practice guidance.&nbsp;</li>
<li>You are familiar with Restorative Justice and the support that victims of crime need.</li>
<li>You can relate and engage with children and families, who have often experienced trauma.</li>

Assistant Facility Manager

We are seeking a Psychotherapists or Counsellor to join the HealthyWay Plus team. You will be required to contribute and deliver an evidence-based weight management programme to improve health and wellbeing in Medway by supporting the achievement of local and national strategies relating to Public Health. Due to the nature of the role, it is important that the post holder remains open to new ideas and perspectives that align to Public Health KPIs and key messages. The post holder must have a minimum of one year’s experience in psychotherapeutic work in a weight management setting ideally including groups.
