As well as delivering Ekaya’s day to day repairs service, including assisting in Disrepair cases and major repairs, you will manage void repairs efficiently in line with the void policy and procedure and provide Pre and Post Inspections in line with Ekaya’s inspection regime.

About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on senior infrastructure and security manager to lead and manage Breast Cancer Now’s IT infrastructure and security operations. This is a delivery focused role where you’ll take responsibility for building, configuring and maintaining infrastructure while also implementing and managing security governance controls. You’ll ensure our systems are resilient, secure and aligned with frameworks such as Cyber Essentials Plus and NCSC guidance. You’ll be responsible for migrating systems from on-premises to Microsoft Azure, modernising our infrastructure to ensure it is secure, scalable and cost-efficient. Alongside this transformation, you’ll manage day-to-day infrastructure and security operations across our hybrid environment. In addition, you’ll also take ownership for the delivery of key governance activities including risk assessments, audits, compliance checks, vulnerability management and cyber incident response. Working closely with the Head of IT, you’ll support the development of long-term plans while taking full ownership of technical delivery. You’ll mentor and guide engineers, but remain fully embedded in the hands-on work needed to build and maintain secure, high-quality infrastructure services.
About you
You’ll be an experienced infrastructure professional with strong hands-on expertise in designing, implementing and managing:

<li>Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, compute, security and monitoring)</li>
<li>Networking technologies (firewalls, VPNs, LAN/WAN, DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP, virtualisation)</li>
<li>Enterprise security tools (SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, XDR, MDM, IDPS)</li>
<li>Backup, replication and disaster recovery solutions</li>
<li>Microsoft services such as Windows Server, Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, Defender, Exchange and SharePoint</li>
</ul>
You’ll have proven experience of building infrastructure solutions end-to-end, delivering transformation projects, and maintaining secure, resilient and cost-efficient environments. You’ll be confident working with security governance frameworks, with direct experience putting in place the day-to-day processes, controls and compliance activities needed to keep an organisation secure. Alongside your technical skills, you’ll bring strong leadership and communication, with the ability to mentor colleagues, collaborate with stakeholders, and explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

The Environmental Protection Team works with other departments in the Council, Planning, Licensing, Arts and Events, Health and Housing, Local residents and external contractors to control excessive noise and vibration within the Borough. The Team are responsible for the Assessment of complex acoustic reports on behalf of Planning and providing expert comments to planning, based on current legislation and the Tower Hamlets local Plan. The analysis and agreement of Control of Pollution Act (COPA)1974 section 61 applications and works dispensations. Statutory noise nuisance assessments and sound level meter data analysis using specialist software and field measurements. Compilation of detailed and complex responses to Environmental Information Regulations requests, Freedom of Information requests and Ombudsman enquires with associated cases. The team also follow up on public requests for service. We are able to offer a range of career opportunities for individuals that are able demonstrate enthusiasm, effectiveness and determination. The Team is based within the Environmental Health and Trading Standards Service and is able to draw on resources and expertise across the Service. We are looking to appoint a CEIAG Coordinator and Teaching Assistant. If successful you will join a team of Teaching Assistants who are key in supporting both the learning and pastoral needs of our pupils, by deploying a range of coaching strategies and interventions at individual, group and whole class level. You will also be the CEAIAG Coordinator, working closely with the Personal Development Lead and Deputy Head Teacher, to ensure that Meadow Park succeeds in delivering all the GATSBY benchmarks.
The successful candidate will:
