Our operatives work closely with supervisors, surveyors, and schedulers to provide a responsive and efficient service for our residents. The plumbing team focuses on repairs and maintenance to communal and estate-based plumbing systems; while also carrying out related tasks associated with plumbing, such as minor brickwork or groundwork where required to complete the job. About the Role: As a Plumber within Community Works, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of plumbing repairs and installations, as well as undertaking minor groundwork and bricklaying tasks where required. You will work across communal areas and estates, delivering work to a high standard, on time, and in line with health and safety requirements. Your flexibility to take on multiple trade tasks will help reduce reliance on contractors and ensure residents receive a seamless service. To be considered for interview, your CV and supporting statement will clearly evidence: <ul> <li>Proven experience in plumbing repairs and maintenance, ideally within a housing or public sector environment.</li> <li>Experience in minor groundwork and bricklaying tasks (desirable).</li> <li>Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards and safe working practices.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality repairs.</li> <li>Good communication and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Ideally, you will hold an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in plumbing; however, applicants with significant relevant experience will also be considered.&nbsp;</li> </ul> We particularly welcome applications from Lambeth residents.
