Key Responsibilities:

<li>Manage the delivery of the Council’s Capital Programme construction projects, from inception to completion, to time, budget and service client satisfaction, and in line with the Council’s procurement rules and regulations</li>
<li>Oversee the appointment and management of external consultants and contractors on spatial planning, property, highway, construction and other commissions which contribute to the planning, appraisal and delivery of development sites.</li>
<li>Ensure all development proposals represent value for money and the optimum use of Council resources through on-going financial appraisal, assessment and production of robust business cases.</li>
<li>Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.</li>
<li>Monitor construction project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.</li>

We’re looking for two Heating and Billing Managers to join our Mechanical Services team and take operational responsibility for the delivery of heat network billing across our portfolio. In this role, you’ll manage billing and income collection services for approximately 250 heat networks, ensuring full cost recovery and compliance with Heat Trust standards.
