We have an exciting opportunity for a Activities Coordinator to join our new Independent Approved Premises commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP). You will support residents recently released from prison in a residential setting, helping them reintegrate into the community. You will play a major part in reintegrating our residents back into the community by coordinating and delivering high quality activities and programmes which work to support individual needs, working in collaboration with the wider team. Some activities may vary but could include days out and visits, awareness days/weeks/months campaigns, cultural celebrations and other meaningful activities to encourage reintegration and enhance social skills and community engagement. &nbsp;No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and meaningful work in a supportive team environment.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues across services including Children in Care, Leaving Care, Fostering, the Clinical Service and the IRO Service to ensure children and young people are identified and referred at the right time.You will:<ul><li>Line-manage the Lifelong Links Social Worker, part-time Clinical Practitioner and Lifelong Links Project Officer</li><li>Support and manage a pool of self-employed Lifelong Links Coordinators, including chairing Initial Planning Meetings for each intervention</li><li>Work closely with the Leaving Care Service to support care-experienced young adults to develop as Lifelong Links Coordinators</li><li>Lead on performance management, data collection and reporting, including quarterly reports to the DfE and FRG</li><li>Represent Southwark in local and national practice development forums and peer support networks</li></ul>This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract / Secondment.About You:You are an experienced and values-driven leader, passionate about supporting children in care and care-experienced young people to build and sustain meaningful relationships.You will bring:<ul><li>Strong leadership and people-management skills, with experience of managing multidisciplinary teams</li><li>A sound understanding of children’s social care and relationship-based practice</li><li>Experience of partnership working across services and with external organisations</li><li>Confidence in performance management, data oversight and reporting</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide consultation, advice and professional support</li><li>A commitment to reflective practice, learning and continuous service improvement</li></ul>About the Team:The Lifelong Links Team is a developing and ambitious service embedded within Southwark’s Family Group Conference Service. Planned Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an Aids and Adaptations Surveyor to join our Housing Service team where you will play a vital part in enabling residents with disabilities to live independently and safely in their homes.You will be responsible for assessing, specifying, and managing a wide range of property adaptations from minor modifications such as grab rails and ramps, to major projects including wet rooms, structural alterations, refurbishments, and extensions.Working closely with Occupational Therapists, tenants, contractors, and internal teams, you will be responsible for managing projects from referral through to completion, ensuring all works comply with statutory requirements, building regulations, health and safety legislation, and council procedures.Key duties of the role include:Assessing referrals for adaptations and providing clear recommendations for adaptations. Liaising with tenants, OTs, and stakeholders to translate assessed needs into practical, safe solutions. Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, CDM requirements, Equality Act, and Health &amp; Safety legislation. Monitoring budgets, verifying invoices, and contributing to financial planning for the adaptations programme.In order to be competent in this role it is essential that you have detailed knowledge of Health &amp; Safety legislation, particularly CDM Regulations, along with having:HNC/HND in Building Studies or significant relevant experience.
