Working closely with statisticians, researchers, and other analysts, you will manage, analyse, and visualise data from multiple sources to ensure Estyn’s evidence base is accurate, accessible, and robust. <h4>Job summary</h4><p>The Private Rented Sector team in the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government is recruiting a Service Desk Analyst to support the delivery of the Private Rented Sector Database, a key measure introduced through the Renter's Rights Act. This set of reforms is crucial to improving the private rented sector, as the lowest quality, least secure and least affordable of all tenures. The database aims to drive housing standards in the sector by supporting landlords to understand their legal duties, providing essential information to local councils for enforcement purposes, and helping tenants make informed choices about which properties they let.</p><p>The Service Desk Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the service desk can support users throughout the private beta, national rollout and live service. They will contribute towards the knowledge transfer process, ensuring the service desk is well equipped to meet user needs, while acting as a point of escalation for any queries the service desk is not able to handle. They will also play an important role in the onboarding process, engaging with councils, managing data and information, and iterating the process based on feedback from users. </p><p>As Service Desk Analyst you will sit within the operations team, working closely with digital and policy colleagues. <h4>Job summary</h4>We are looking for an 18 Months Fixed Term Regulatory Analyst to join ORR's Periodic Reviews &amp; Monitoring team that sits within the Economics, Finance and Markets (EFM) Directorate. The directorate leads ORR’s work on the funding of railway infrastructure in Great Britain, financial and economic analysis within ORR, and ORR’s competition work. The team’s focus is on the funding process for the railway infrastructure and assessing how Network Rail is delivering against its commitments. We work closely with colleagues across ORR, as well as with governments, Network Rail, and other stakeholders.<h4>Job description</h4><p>You will play a key part in preparing for the next funding process for the railway infrastructure in Great Britain. <h4>Job summary</h4><p>This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of Government cyber security, as part of the Government Cyber Coordination Centre (GC3). The GC3 is a joint initiative sponsored by the Government Digital Service (GDS) and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). The GC3 coordinates the cross-Government response to cyber security vulnerabilities, threats, and incidents, enhancing cyber resilience and enabling the Government to more efficiently and effectively protect public services and “defend as one”.</p><p>In June 2025, the Government Cyber Unit moved from the Cabinet Office to the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) as part of a machinery of government (MoG) change. This role is in scope to transfer to DSIT in February 2026. We are currently consulting with Trade Unions on which policies, terms and conditions will apply on transfer. The statement of changes applied to all other Cabinet Office staff will also apply to you if you are successful.</p><h4>Job description</h4><p>Design, implement, and optimize threat detection content across a wide range of platforms and data sources. This role combines advanced query language skills, a deep understanding of system and network logging, and experience with rule-based detection engines and CI/CD pipelines (notably those developed in Python).</p><p>Successful candidates must meet the security requirements before they can be appointed.
