About the role…
As a MiCare Support Worker you:

<li>Provide support to adults to develop and maintain activities of daily living, including personal care.</li>
<li>Support people to undertake a range of social care tasks such as washing, dressing/undressing, showering, and bathing, meal preparation, domestic activities and engaging in community activities.</li>
<li>Undertake a range of delegated health care tasks as required such as prompt prescribed medication, supporting the application of prescribed creams, eye and ear drops, catheter care and prompting exercise as prescribed by the physiotherapist.</li>
</ul>
It is essential that you have a full UK driving license and access to a car to enable you to work in this role.
Basic pay of £12.45 - £12.65 per hour, Saturdays at £18.68 - £18.98 per hour, Sundays and bank holidays at £24.90 - £25.30 per hour.&nbsp;
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, however, if you have the passion and commitment to help and support others then we can offer you a comprehensive induction and a tailored training plan, with support to undertake the QCF Diploma and Level 2 Health and Social Care qualifications fully funded by us!

We have fantastic opportunity available for a Residential Children’s Home Assistant Manager to join our brand-new, multi-building Residential Children’s Homes within the borough.
As the Assistant Manager, you will play an active role in the day-to-day operation and provide key support to the Residential Homes Manager in their responsibilities for the effective management of the residential children’s homes. Key responsibilities:

<li>Support the Homes Manager to ensure that the service meet its statutory responsibility and is compliant with the Children’s Homes Regulations (2015).</li>
<li>Assist in the development of a professional team that performs to the highest standards, ensuring effective supervision, staff development and training.</li>
<li>Support the Homes Manager to exceed expectations at Inspection and Regulation 44 visits in terms of delivering positive outcomes for young people.</li>
<li>Work openly with Quality Assurance to ensure good safeguarding standards and high-quality information recording are maintained.</li>
<li>Line management for 8/9 members of staff over a working week, including 2 Senior Support workers, 4/5 Support workers and 1/2 Waking night staff.</li>

Horsham District Council is looking for a Civil Enforcement Officer to join our highly successful Parking Services team.
As Civil Enforcement Officer you will play an important role in keeping our roads safe and ensuring that efficient traffic flows are maintained across Horsham District. You will take care of car parking provisions, enforce parking zones, provide school safety patrols and manage the technology that helps keep our streets free-flowing and our economy thriving. Patrols are both on foot and mobile, working closely with communities to deliver a high-quality service.
The role of a Civil Enforcement Officer is a challenging but rewarding role and is suitable for those with enthusiasm for community engagement and a genuine passion for improving the neighbourhoods in which they work. This role is ideal for those who wish to develop their skills for a career in Parking Services or to obtain relevant experience for careers in other enforcement roles, such as the police service.
You will liaise closely with other agencies and council departments to provide holistic solutions to problems in our neighbourhoods. The role provides variety, builds upon a strong teamwork ethic and can deliver job satisfaction and fulfilment. We will support you every step of the way and can provide opportunities for you to develop yourself and reach your true potential.
The role operates on a shift basis working 5 days over the 7-day week including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. Rosters include two Saturdays and one Sunday per month. You will be required to work in all weather conditions and undertake a significant amount of walking, clocking up around 10 miles each day.
About you:
To succeed as Civil Enforcement Officer, you must hold a current manual driving licence for a minimum of 2 years (vehicles are provided). You will enjoy working with people, be friendly, polite, and willing to offer support, advice and assistance to colleagues and customers. Good numeracy and literacy skills are required, together with good observation and accuracy abilities. Basic computer skills would be an advantage, as you will be using a hand-held device daily.
To undertake the role, you will need a level 2 qualification; this is something that we are willing to provide to the right candidate. A full uniform will be provided including footwear, along with all essential equipment as required.

One of the posts will likely sit entirely within the multi-disciplinary Alternative Provision Taskforce and the other split between this taskforce and the BHISS Social, Emotional and Mental Health Team (SEMH), which currently operates as the city’s behaviour outreach service for 0–16-year-olds. &nbsp;BHISS-SEMH offers support, advice, trainings as well as direct in-school interventions for children whose behaviours are likely to mean they are at risk of suspension. Our key aims are to reduce fixed term suspensions; maintain children’s mainstream placement as well as develop colleagues’ capacity to manage challenge. We also offer a variety of bespoke trainings and forums for staff, both 1-1 and small groups, to discuss challenge as well as devise clear programmes of support for referred children. The ability to ably represent the team at multi-disciplinary meetings across the city is vital.&nbsp;BHISS is located at the Portslade Hub. Acre View Primary School, is a new school which has been purposefully rebuilt and&nbsp; remodelled in the beautiful village of Lydiate, Sefton. We support pupils with social and&nbsp; communication difficulties, including Autistic Spectrum Condition; complex learning,&nbsp; sensory and emotional needs, across a range of cognitive abilities. Flexibility, humour and&nbsp; willingness to go the extra mile are essential for all staff to ensure a high standard of&nbsp; support for all our pupils. You will:&nbsp; • Be able to build sound, professional relationships with pupils&nbsp; • Be committed to working with children with SEND • Have experience of teaching pupils and enabling progress, you will be able to explain and demonstrate this • Have a track record of successfully delivering learning opportunities to young people.&nbsp; • Have knowledge of Autistic Spectrum Condition and support children who display challenging behaviour • Have a passion for developing children’s skills and learning • Have had involvement in recording, developing, analysing and tracking pupil progress&nbsp; • Be able to work in partnership with external agencies and schools • Be committed to working within a team promoting exciting and creative learning
