We’re looking for a proactive and organised Heat Networks and Energy Administrator to join our Utilities team. In this role, you’ll be the central point of contact for all utility-related matters across our growing energy portfolio. You’ll help manage supplier contracts, maintain accurate asset records, support billing processes, and resolve customer queries. About the role:
Active Wirral are looking for a Pre-Falls Physical Activity Lead to join the Active Wellbeing team at Wirral Council. The team work across Wirral, supporting residents to make sport and physical activity part of their everyday lives.
You will co-design and implement a pilot Universal Preventative Offer to support older adults to live stronger, healthier and happier lives. &nbsp;&nbsp;
This role will be based with Wirral Council, working in partnership with Public Health, Primary Care Networks and health partners.
About the Candidate:
You will create an evidence based, systemic approach to reducing the number of adults needing to access the falls prevention programme through increasing activity levels of those residents that have a higher rate of falls due to long term health conditions and health inequalities.
The focus will incorporate approaches such as community asset and strengths led approaches to improving health and wellbeing and will aim to focus on communities who experience the greatest inequalities in health.
You will need to display excellent communication skills and be able to work in an agile, multi-disciplinary and compassionate manner to co-produce the offer.&nbsp; You will need to be creative in your thinking and adopt a systemic approach to place-based working to reach agreed key performance indicators. &nbsp;

We are inviting applications from enthusiastic and qualified individuals to join our small but experienced Building Control team.&nbsp; You are required to be qualified to a minimum of Class 2F/4 Registered Building Inspector and be a corporate member of RICS/CABE (or equivalent). You will also have a proven track record within Local Authority Building Control.&nbsp;
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking all general Building Control duties including the checking of plans and carrying out site inspections within the borough to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements; dealing with dangerous structures within the borough; and ensuring the use of the Council’s enforcement powers under the terms of the Building Act and Building Safety Act.&nbsp; You will report to the Group Head of Place, Protection and Prosperity and, in their absence, you will be responsible for managing the Building Control team when required to do so.&nbsp; As a member of the Spelthorne team, you will be expected to have not only an in-depth knowledge of construction but also all allied legislation relating to Building Control matters. You will be able to work under your own initiative and be committed to providing a first class level of service to our customers. You:
The applicant should have recent and relevant experience in a similar role or experience in the pastoral care of young people with SEND in another sector. You will be working with students providing additional support to them during school hours. Assisting the learning of Key Stage 3 and 4 students, you will be working with a variety of students in the classroom, as well as on a one-to-one basis when required.
