Job description

Part Time / 32 Hours Per Week / Permanent

Join our dynamic and vibrant Enrolment Team, as part of Learner Services, to act as the first point of contact for potential learners and visitors.

We have a part time working 32 hours per week permanent role Monday to Friday. Appointment to the role will mainly be at the Adult Education College or Bishopdale Learning Hub, however, on occasion you’ll be expected to work at other sites across the city. Opening times are Monday to Thursday 8.30am-9.00pm and 8.30am-4.30pm on a Friday. You’ll be required to work evenings and Saturdays on a rota basis.

What you’ll be doing

Providing help and support you’ll play an integral role in informing and spreading awareness of our courses, enrolment process and payment plans to potential learners. In addition, you’ll contact current learners regarding their learning and offering support where needed. Your day-to-day duties will also include processing emails and telephone enquiries.

What you’ll need

As the first point of contact, you’ll need excellent customer service skills and an excellent level of English so you are able to communicate across many forms i.e., over the phone, face-to-face and email communication.
