You will provide a high-quality, front-line specialist service focused on data management and governance. You will assist in maintaining and improving the Council’s data quality, ensuring that information used across services is accurate, secure and reliable. You will be responsible for managing data projects, supporting the implementation of the Council’s data strategy, and helping to deliver a new strategic data platform. You will work closely with colleagues across all services to collect, cleanse, and structure data for reporting and analysis, supporting informed decision-making and operational delivery. We are seeking candidates with proven experience in using Power BI to develop insightful reports and dashboards, and with experience of working with GIS systems to support spatial analysis and data visualisation. The ability to build strong and productive relationships with colleagues and external partners is essential, along with excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. You will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to meet defined performance targets within agreed timescales. This is an exciting new opportunity to join our Business Development team as a Business Development Officer, reporting to the Head of Business Development!
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth, reach, and expansion of the services in which we deliver at Social Interest Group (SIG). The role focuses on identifying new funding and tender opportunities, preparing submissions, managing documents, and supporting with our Marketing efforts. Some of what this role entails includes:

<li>Leading on developing processes and procedures for approvals and submissions of grants and tenders</li>
