The home provides up to three placements on a medium to long term basis for children 8 to 17years.</p><p>For this role we are looking for someone who has at least 2 years’ experience of working with children with complex needs. You will need to hold the QCF level 3 or equivalent or be willing to undertake the qualification within 6 months of starting the role.</p><p>You with teammates will be responsible for the care of the children at night; this will include Assisting with the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Observing and reporting, in writing, on the behaviour and care needs of the young people during the night. Working with other agencies to safeguard children, for example reporting children missing to the police, working with the emergency duty team to admit children out of hours.</p><p>You will also be expected to undertake some laundry duties and contribute to the general running of the home.
