This is a fast-paced, hands-on role during a period of significant growth. We are looking for someone who can quickly get up to speed, build strong relationships with employees and managers, and deliver high-quality learning experiences.
The Commission is about to embark on an exciting new journey with a new 5 year Corporate Plan full of exciting changes which will impact the way we in HR work and plan for the future including rolling out a new pay structure and performance management framework, increasing our organisational headcount and introducing performance base pay progression. This role will play a pivotal role in supporting this change.
Pay Progression
The Commission is about to launch a new Pay Structure in July 2025 which introduces performance based pay progression depending on performance. Eligibility for the performance-based pay progression in April of the following year is dependent on having completed the required six months service at the progression rating date (31 January). The new structure allows the potential for pay progression on top of any inflationary increase for staff. The range below shows the potential maximum pay progression in addition to any annual inflationary increase to your pay. The full width of the B Band starts at £31,549 and goes up to £42,065. Please note that the salary band for new staff is up to £33,126 and our default position is to appoint into the lower zone of the band unless exceptional circumstances.

The Role
This is a newly created role with the aim of contributing to the design and delivery of the L&amp;D plan and programme including coaching, mentoring, learning hours, classroom training and e-learning. The role will support the L&amp;OD Senior Advisors and L&amp;OD Manager in business partnering with both individuals and departments to establish learning needs by identifying skills gaps and future learning requirements.
In order to ensure the smooth running and sustainability of all the above, this role is responsible for supporting the L&amp;D team in implementing and continually maintaining a new Learning Management System (LMS) to help develop, deliver, track and evaluate success of training for Commission. It will also support the embedding of a new invigorated performance process by communicating and upskilling service users on the new process and system.
The post holder will support on the on-boarding and induction for all new joiners, looking at how we engage with new staff before they join the Commission, ensuring there is an comprehensive induction plan in place and ensuring essential key mandatory training is being completed.
From and OD perspective, the post holder will support the work underpinning the new growth plan and culture change we are experiencing. &nbsp;

We are looking for a motivated professional, keen to develop with a passion for Learning and Development. You need to be comfortable collaborating with others and using your initiative. A good communicator and confident to adapt styles to meet different stakeholders. Strong digital skills are essential to support the team and our ambitions.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

<li>Minimum of 1 years experience in a L&amp;D role</li>

You will be required to assist colleagues to provide effective support to young people using the service, providing high quality of care in which the emotional, physical, social development and behavioural needs of young people are met. You will also be expected to be a keyworker and attend meetings. You will be required to support the young people to develop effective routines and with all aspects of personal care.
The salary advertised is for full time (36 hours per week) so salary would be pro-rated down for 26 hours. This post attracts enhanced payments.

You will co-ordinate and manage the Council's duties related to the Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, vehicle licensing, street trading, and other functions, including regulation and enforcement activities.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of legal frameworks and procedures related to licensing and enforcement and the ability to quickly analyse and interpret complex written, numerical and financial information and make informed decisions.
You will be proficient in working independently and collaboratively and have strong interpersonal skills building effective teams and relationships. You will also have a personal commitment to delivering high quality services to all customers and service users, experience of managing human resources and strong problem solving and decision-making abilities to resolve licensing issues and disputes.

Who are we?
Leaways School is an independent specialist day school in Clapton, for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 17. The school provides a safe learning environment for children and young people with
social, emotional and mental health needs including autism and an
EHC Plan. We also have a dedicated primary unit taking children from 7 years old. We aim to offer as close to a mainstream experience as possible but provide the additional care and support needed around each young person to enable them to thrive.
We are committed to safeguarding and protecting children and we expect all colleagues to share this commitment. We will do everything possible to ensure that only those who are suitable to work with children are recruited to work for us. An opportunity has become available in Customer Services. We are seeking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor to work from our Southport One Stop Shop which is currently based in The Atkinson – the post will be strictly office-based and extensive training will be delivered from our Bootle One Stop Shop, based in Stanley Road Bootle. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
The successful candidate will predominately work from our Southport office, however there will be occasions when they will be required to work in Bootle.
This role will primarily be responsible for:
<ul>
<li>Offering face-to-face advice for a wide range of Council services</li>
<li>Providing customers with a high-quality customer service experience</li>
<li>Assisting with Council Tax, Blue Badge, Parking and Benefit enquiries</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ensuring all documents submitted by customers are thoroughly checked and scanned.</li>
<li>Updating various core databases and ensuring all aspects of General Data Protection Regulations are maintained.</li>
</ul>
While working in The Atkinson, most of the enquiries handled will be by appointment and drop-in arrangements are in place when working in Bootle One Stop Shop,
