About the role

They will ensure integration between the GLA Group Clean Power Commercial Programme and other related programmes and strategies, accelerates the purchasing of clean power, solar panel installations on buildings, heat pumps roll out and buildings retrofit among public sector organisations across London.&nbsp; They will provide commercial expertise to ensure this programme is delivered to high standard, provide guidance and support, engage with key stakeholders, and work closely with senior leadership and the Mayor’s Office to deliver the Mayor’s ambitions.

You will be part of a committed enthusiastic team, focused on high performance and working to challenging financial and operational targets. You will need a minimum of 2 years’ experience in processing Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction scheme, this includes complex assessments such as Universal Credit, Self-Employed, Students, and Persons from Abroad. You will help those on low income to sustain their tenancies ensuring their benefits are maximised. 
 
You will work using your own initiative and prioritise conflicting deadlines, manage your time efficiently with good communication skills. You will need a good standard of numeracy and literacy, effectively responding to enquiries received by letter, telephone and e-mail.

- Lead the development and maintenance of performance management, monitoring, and reporting frameworks.
- Oversee effective programme management, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of grant-funded programmes, particularly&nbsp;Connect to Work.
- Conduct monitoring, verification, and assurance visits to ensure programme compliance, value for money, and alignment with Council priorities.
We are looking for someone with:
- A proven track record of leadership in managing large-scale, complex grant-funded programmes with multiple partners, specifically with experience in compliance for DWP-funded initiatives like&nbsp;Connect to Work.
- Demonstrable experience in performance management, developing challenging outcomes, and negotiating goal
- Expertise in developing and sustaining successful partnerships across public and private sectors.
- Highly organised programme management skills, including meticulous management of delivery and financial programmes.
