Work as part of the Health &amp; Fitness team to meet the expectations of members to deliver the Health &amp; Fitness programme.&nbsp;
Provide personalised fitness training and guidance to clients, helping them achieve their health and fitness goals.&nbsp;
Work closely with individuals to assess their needs, monitor progress, and adjust training plans accordingly.
Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages fitness, well-being and sustained lifestyle changes.
Ensure the facilities are well maintained, clean and fit for purpose.
This role requires expertise in exercise science, the ability to create customised fitness plans, and a strong focus on client motivation and safety.
Your responsibilities will include:

<li>Conduct fitness assessments for new and returning clients to understand their current fitness levels, goals&nbsp;and medical history.</li>
<li>Demonstrate exercises and technique to clients, ensuring proper form to prevent injury</li>
<li>Provide general nutritional and wellness advice to complement exercise routines</li>
<li>Motivate clients, fostering a supportive and encouraging training environment</li>
<li>Ensure the gym is clean, safe and organised, following all safety protocols and procedures</li>
<li>Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, certifications and best practices</li>
<li>Address client enquiries regarding fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle in a professional and informed manner</li>
<li>Carry out promotional activities such as outreach activities, attending partner events, member socials,&nbsp;challenges, and producing regular Facebook / Social Media content.</li>
<li>Ensure customers are adhering to the members code of conduct</li>
<li>Carry out regular maintenance work on the fitness equipment following appropriate training.</li>
</ul>
This is a permanent post, working 13.5 hours per week on a rota basis; 2 shifts per week spread over these days depending what week of the rota it is (3 week rota): Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, including evenings and weekends.
The ability to obtain an enhanced clearance with the Disclosure and Barring Service is essential.

This role, along with the Senior Occupational Therapist post, have been created specifically to establish a reablement offer.&nbsp; Reablement provision will focus on delivering short-term, recovery-focused and goal-orientated support to individuals in the community, and on discharge from hospital.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Key responsibilities:

<li>Hold a mental health caseload, conduct assessments, provide care/recommendations and services for people who have severe and/or enduring mental health difficulties, and physical health co-morbidities</li>

<li>Produce care plans and risk management plans and ensure their effective implementation.</li>
