About the Role

As IT Service Officeryou will report directly to the IT Service Centre Team Leader to successfully deliver first and second line IT support. You will be pivotal in applying our customer first approach, and in supporting the team to meet and exceed service delivery targets.

You will assist colleagues throughout the business both on-site and remotely, resolving IT incidents and service requests within agreed timeframes and with excellent customer service, ensuring that all customer interactions are logged, categorised and classified accurately, with the customer kept informed during the lifecycle of their ticket.

You will also support in the procurement and provision of hardware ensuring that security and compliance standards are maintained through the regular update of end user devices.

About the person

You will be a customer-focused IT professional with hands-on experience of providing technical support and resolving incidents in a busy IT environment. With strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude, you will be able to diagnose issues, identify root causes and deliver effective solutions.

An excellent communicator and team player, you will build strong relationships with colleagues, provide outstanding customer service, and ensure users are kept informed throughout the support process. You will be organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of service, security and professionalism. A commitment to continuous learning and improving IT services is essential.
