Our client is seeking a qualified lawyer who has experience in Childcare Law, preferably from a local authority setting but they are open to applicants from private practice who want to transfer their skills. The role will report to and be directed and supervised by a Senior Lawyer. Depending on the requirement of the relevant Senior Lawyer, you will undertake litigation and prosecution work as necessary.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The post holder will be expected to handle under supervision and direction of the Senior Lawyer,&nbsp;a varied caseload of criminal and civil litigation matters, and judicial review cases. You will be required to advise , conduct negotiations, undertake drafting and attend meetings relevant to the role.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; You may also be required to advise Members and Officers, and will undertake all contentious proceedings where appropriate, specifically civil and criminal matters.
