To drive this transformation, Wirral Council is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to lead on design and development of architectural function to support Digital Data and Technology provision across the Council.</p>\n<p>The role will lead on the development, maintenance and performance of the architectural vision and ensure solutions are designed to meet service areas and the Councils strategic requirements and will be pivotal in achieving integration across systems as well as driving cloud adoption.</p>\n<p><strong>About the candidate:</strong></p>\n<p>You will have a passion to make a difference and can see opportunities for improvement using Digital and Data, and to design and implement solutions. You will be able to work independently as well as communicating at all levels across the organisation, inspiring and building enthusiasm in the digital space.</p>\n<p>You will have experience working in complex organisations, and a detailed knowledge of solution architecture and its applications. Experience in leading a team and developing architectural vision and enterprise architecture frameworks are essential, alongside capabilities in undertaking architectural assessments and creating roadmaps, including technology gap assessments, cloud transition approaches.
