Temporary Democratic Services Officer

Temporary Democratic Services Officer

£35,412 - £38,220 per year

We are looking for a Democratic Services Officer to join a small but busy team supporting the democratic processes of the Council and helping to ensure that decisions can be taken effectively and lawfully. This will involve co-ordinating and servicing meetings of the Council’s committees as well as some working and task groups, and will include preparing and publishing agendas, reports and minutes.

The core part of the job will revolve around committee administration work. Many of the meetings are held outside working hours and in-person, so that flexibility for evening working and attending the Council Offices is required.
