Family Matters is a preventative service which encompasses teams of family workers supporting families at level 3/4 on the continuum of need. We’re looking for people who will contribute towards ensuring all our children, young people and families receive the right level of support at the right time.\nWe have an exciting opportunity for 2 Child & Family Workers to join the team on a 12-month fixed term contract.\nAs a family worker you will be responsible for managing a case load of families, some of whom may have a social worker as part of the support being offered, or it could be that you as the family worker, are co ordinating that support alongside other involved colleagues, such as education or health.\nThe successful candidates must have a good working knowledge of safeguarding practices and demonstrable experience of working with families with complex needs.
