Job description

The successful candidate will report to the NSD Quality and Effective Practice Manager within the Performance and Quality team.

Duties will include:

  • Maintain and regularly update the NSD Training Plan, ensuring records are accurate, current and reflect training requirements.
  • Monitor training completion and compliance across NSD.
  • Respond to requests for training and workforce data, producing accurate reports and information in a timely manner.
  • Organise and coordinate training events, including scheduling, communications, attendance monitoring and maintaining training records.
  • Prepare and present workforce planning data.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records for NSD complaints, litigations and Serious Further Offences (SFOs), ensuring information is managed appropriately and in line with relevant procedures.
  • Maintain and update databases.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with National Security Units (NSUs) and other key stakeholders to support information sharing and processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the P&Q team, contributing to a range of projects, audits, reviews and service improvement activities.
  • Support the production of reports, performance information and quality assurance information to assist the delivery of NSD P&Q objectives.
