About the Role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Transport Information Assistant to join our Transport Information Team. This is an important role in the delivery of accurate, accessible and up-to-date passenger information across the Liverpool City Region.

As part of a multi-skilled and flexible team, you will contribute to the production, publication and distribution of both printed and digital transport information.

This includes producing timetable posters for bus stops and rail stations, as well as online timetable leaflets; inputting and maintaining transport data for use in real-time information systems and journey planning tools; managing service disruption messaging; and supporting the provision of mapping and wayfinding materials at key interchanges and bus stations.

The role requires a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency across all outputs. You will also support the printing, preparation and finishing of timetable posters for display across the transport network.

About the person

We are seeking an organised, detail‑focused individual with experience in creating customer‑facing information or data management. You will have practical desktop publishing skills, along with the ability to accurately input, process and validate high volumes of data. You will be confident working within established processes and procedures, ensuring consistency and quality across all outputs.

You will be a collaborative team player, adopting a flexible approach to work and able to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy in a fast paced environment.

Above all, you will be committed to high standards, attention to detail and continuous improvement, with a clear focus on enhancing the customer experience across the Liverpool City Region.
