Hours: Full time, term time + inset days, 08:00-16:00 Mon - Thu and 08:00-15:30 on Fri

Your new school
Lift Ryde, based on the Isle of Wight, is an 11 to 18 years secondary school and is part of Lift Schools, one of the largest MATs in the country. The school is set in spacious grounds and had a completely new state of the art building in 2017. All staff have access to a free on site gym with a range of fantastic equipment. Known as the "Garden Isle" because of its beautiful landscape, unspoilt beaches, rugged coastline and beautiful countryside. Judged as 'Good' by Ofsted in November 2022, Lift Ryde is a school that pupils feel proud to attend, with a calm and orderly environment. Your new role
The role of the Administrative Assistant is to be a core component of the administrative team, providing effective and efficient administrative support which is essential for the smooth running of the school. The role is responsible for managing communications with stakeholders, maintaining records, coordinating arrangements for events or meetings, providing reception support, managing academy resources and supplies and compiling reports. Additionally, they may support other administrative staff, such as the School Operations Manager, in specific school projects.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of working in a customer-facing role in an office environment with good IT skills. You will be organised and adaptable with good Administrative skills and knowledge and use of general office equipment. Working within a school we expect you to understand the importance of safeguarding and have a passion for working with and supporting children.
