You will work with a range of providers and assessors in our Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Team to protect vulnerable adults who lack the capacity to make decisions for themselves.&nbsp;&nbsp;
This is a really rewarding role within a busy business support team and you will need to continually deal with urgent situations and prioritise your workload accordingly to meet deadlines.&nbsp;
It is an exciting and varied role in which you will build up a specialist knowledge and understanding of the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards system.&nbsp; Full training around this aspect will be provided in-house and your duties would range from dealing with enquiries, taking telephone referrals, data entry, monitoring and tracking cases and producing a wide range of documentation.
Exceptional communication skills are essential and you will be required to work with the organisation’s in-house computer system (SystmOne) along with Microsoft Office; with particular emphasis on Outlook, Word and Excel.
The organisation offers a very attractive holiday entitlement of 30 days (Pro Rata) in addition to 8 Bank Holidays per annum.&nbsp; The working pattern has some flexibility although it would preferably include working until 17:00 Wednesday through Friday.

The Playranger service is looking for highly motivated and organised individuals who are able to advocate for and demonstrate the value and importance of good quality, outdoor play for children in the borough.&nbsp;
The&nbsp;Playrangers&nbsp;team&nbsp;is involved with&nbsp;the day-to-day delivery of the&nbsp;Playrangers&nbsp;service, providing accessible and challenging outdoor play opportunities in local parks and open spaces across the borough. The&nbsp;Playranger&nbsp;sessions have an overall aim to encourage,&nbsp;support&nbsp;and widen accessibility to play opportunities for children within the borough; to play freely and enjoy the benefits of playing in the outdoors in their community. The primary age range of children for this service is&nbsp;five&nbsp;to twelve years old.&nbsp;
Day-to-Day Duties&nbsp;
You will&nbsp;arrive at the&nbsp;depot to pick up the&nbsp;Playrangers&nbsp;van&nbsp;and head to&nbsp;one of the six sites. You will need to unload the play equipment from the van. An element of manual handling is needed.&nbsp;
The session will include&nbsp;monitoring&nbsp;the children’s&nbsp;behaviour,&nbsp;safeguarding&nbsp;and encouraging children to&nbsp;play freely and&nbsp;together.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
Working hours will be outdoors and involve the direct delivery of play opportunities to children and young people&nbsp;in all weather.&nbsp;

The successful applicant will&nbsp;be required&nbsp;to undertake essential training and will have access to a range of extra training opportunities related to the role.&nbsp;
