    Summary

    What you'll do

    As our Learning Partnering & Delivery Manager, you will lead the Learning Partnering & Delivery team, ensuring colleagues across NHG receive high-quality learning that builds capability, strengthens performance and supports our values.

    Reporting to the Head of Learning & Development, you will oversee the planning and delivery of skills, behavioural and compliance learning, partnering with leaders, HRBPs, Learning & Development Partners and delivery specialists to ensure learning activity meets organisational needs and supports consistent, high-quality services for residents.

    You will play a key role in strengthening NHG's capability and colleague experience by ensuring colleagues have the skills, knowledge and behaviours they need to perform confidently and consistently. Working at the heart of our People Development team, you'll help embed our values, improve organisational capability and support NHG's wider people strategy.

    How you'll do it

    • Lead the Learning Partnering & Delivery team to plan, schedule and deliver high-quality skills, behavioural and compliance learning across NHG, ensuring consistent standards and colleague experiences.
    • Partner with HRBPs, leaders and Learning & Development Partners to understand capability needs and align learning delivery to directorate priorities and service standards.
    • Ensure learning delivery is consistent, scalable and sustainable, enabling repeatable high-quality learning experiences across the organisation.
    • Provide day-to-day leadership to a team of around six colleagues, creating clear priorities, strong performance and a supportive, values-led culture.
    • Oversee the planning and coordination of delivery activity, ensuring effective resource allocation and proactive scheduling to meet organisational demand.
    • Support the implementation of statutory, mandatory and compliance learning, ensuring delivery quality, audit readiness and alignment to competence and conduct requirements.
    • Work closely with the Design & Systems team to ensure learning content and delivery are aligned, efficient and focused on improving colleague experience.
    • Deliver engaging skills, behavioural and performance-focused learning sessions where required, modelling excellent facilitation and delivery standards.
    • Build facilitation capability across the Learning Partnering & Delivery team, supporting consistent delivery standards and best practice.
    • Ensure NHG's values and expected behaviours are embedded throughout learning experiences and interactions.
    • Work with Talent & Performance Partners, HRBPs and leaders to identify capability gaps and prioritise targeted development interventions.
    • Use data, feedback, evaluation and workforce insights to improve learning outcomes, strengthen capability and drive continuous improvement.

    The ideal candidate

    Essential

    • Experience leading learning delivery, capability-building or organisational development activity within a complex organisation.
    • Strong understanding of skills, behavioural and compliance learning, including statutory and mandatory learning requirements.
    • Experience partnering with leaders, HRBPs, Learning & Development Partners and delivery teams to diagnose capability needs and deliver effective learning solutions.
    • Ability to use data, insight and evaluation to inform planning, prioritise capability needs and improve learning outcomes.
    • Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to coach, develop and motivate high-performing teams.
    • Confident facilitation skills and the ability to deliver engaging learning experiences while modelling delivery best practice.
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build productive relationships across all levels of the organisation.
    • Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • A passion for helping colleagues develop, succeed and deliver excellent outcomes for residents.
    • A strong commitment to values, inclusion and delivering a positive colleague experience.

    Desirable

    • Experience working within a housing association, local authority or similarly complex organisation.
    • Experience leading learning delivery teams or learning operations functions.
    • Experience delivering talent, leadership or performance-related development programmes.
    • CIPD qualification or equivalent professional qualification.
    • Experience using learning data, talent insights and workforce metrics to inform learning strategy and delivery planning.
