We are recruiting for a Bereavement Services Officer to assist with the day-to-day operation and provision of the service including, Cremation and Burial paperwork, leased memorials, filing, typing; to provide cover for sickness and leave: to assist with reception duties and to provide support to the Cremation Technicians, which could include training to carry out cremations. You will undertake burial and cremation administration. This will include entering of information into bespoke databases, working with mapping software and undertaking searches of registers. Your role will be to form part of the team of four horticulturists that care for and maintain this prestigious collection. You will work with the Head Gardener and Curator, the Visitor Experience Manager as well as a large number of volunteers. The High Peak South Adult Social Work Long Term Team are based in Buxton and we are seeking to recruit an experienced full time Social Worker to join our friendly community-based team of Social Workers and Social Care Practitioners. The successful candidate will be expected to work their 37 hrs Monday to Friday each week.
