We are pleased to be advertising the role of Compliance Officer within the Adults and Health Directorate. This is a permanent role to work within the Adult Social Care Quality Assurance Team.&nbsp; 
This role is key to the success and sustainability of locally commissioned provider services. About the role…
To be successful as the Compliance Officer your duties will include:
<ul>
<li>Maintaining regular contact with care providers via monthly multi-disciplinary meetings</li>
<li>Acting as a point of contact for care providers regarding any issues connected to quality and compliance in line with their CQC regulatory standards of care</li>
<li>Providing regular updates to providers via newsletter, email and telephone contact on various topics including training, infection control etc</li>
<li>Acting as a link to national, regional and local forums connected to provider care provision including Skills for Care</li>
<li>Working with the Compliance Lead to co-ordinate the assurance visits, undertake pre-assurance visit research and collate data to prepare for potential key lines of enquiry</li>
<li>Undertaking aspects of the assurance visits in line with Rutland’s Assurance Framework and to record, analyse and report findings from these visits to produce SMART action plans which support an approach of continuous improvement</li>
<li>Involvement in implementing projects with providers, informed by national, regional and local priorities and to co-produce, co-design with providers wherever possible</li>
</ul>

Relief Support Worker

You will be based at one of the Area Housing Offices working as part of the Customer Repairs team reporting directly to the Senior Customer Repairs Officer and Assistant Customer Repairs Manager The Customer Repairs Officer role will be supporting the Building Repairs teams providing a repairs service. You will work flexibly in a call centre and be part of a rota which is regularly reviewed and adjusted appropriately to meet the demands of the service undertaking your contracted hours. You will act as the main point of contact for residents, leaseholders, PCC employees and site managers who are requesting repairs. You will need to be able to collect accurate repair information and ask effective questions ensuring that the right resource is allocated to undertake the repair at the right time that is convenient with the customer. You will also support all the Building Repairs teams providing a repairs service by carrying out a range of technical administrative duties including, updating repairs following authorisation of quotes, customer satisfaction surveys, administering Disabled Facility Grants (DFG) requests, uploading information to our stock database, arranging surveyor and annual service appointments. Skills: Your application needs to demonstrate that you: 1.	Ideally have experience in a telephone or call centre role, managing large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner 2. Ranger 3 Tractor Driver
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Ranger 3 Tractor Driver, Grade D to work in the Land Management Operations Team, Green Sefton.
Green Sefton provides our communities with a clean, green Borough including parks and greenspaces, nature reserves, trees, and woodlands, play and recreational facilities, municipal golf courses and our coast, beaches, and countryside, which include specially protected sites and landscapes, benefitting the health and wellbeing of residents, visitors, investors, and nature.&nbsp;&nbsp;
The role primarily involves tractor driving duties, using different implements such as gang mowers and front loaders, scheduling works for self and alongside colleagues, working outdoors, undertaking a wide range of maintenance tasks, using a variety of tools and equipment, supporting volunteers, and dealing with the public.
The role sits in the Green Sefton Services Team, within In House Operational Services based in our Hesketh Park depot as a main base but providing boroughwide support as required.

<h2>About the role</h2>
To deliver the landlord function in co-ordinating, authorising and overseeing the delivery of events and activities at the Authority’s core sites at City Hall, Union Street, Trafalgar Square and Parliament Square Garden.&nbsp; This includes facilitating rallies and protests at the two iconic Squares and promoting spare capacity at the venues to commercial clients to achieve income targets.&nbsp;
<h2>What your day will look like</h2>
<ul>
<li>Delivering the Landlord functions for all events related lettings across the Authority’s core sites. This will include ensuring:</li>
</ul>
a.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Contracts for lettings are in place and signed,
b.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Health, safety and security principles are applied during the planning and implementation of events, including any new duties imposed by the landlord’s protect duty for public events and activities.
c.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Appropriate and adequate method statements and risk assessment are produced and signed off by the Authority.
d.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Adequate insurances are in place.
e.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Being a personal license holder for licensable activities
f.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Appropriate asset protection measures are in place, with particular attention to national heritage assts at the two Squares.

<li>Acting as the first point of contact for both internal and external enquiries for the use of Authority’s venues and event spaces, taking responsibility from the initial enquiry through to the delivery and conclusion of the activity. This includes internal events, GLA organised public facing events, commercial and charity hires, rallies and protests.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Co-ordinate and undertake liaison with key stakeholders, including Mayor’s Office, London Assembly, GLA staff, contractors, event production companies, principal neighbours of Trafalgar Square, Parliament Square Gardens and City Hall, the Metropolitan Police, Local Authorities and other statutory bodies to ensure events comply with relevant regulatory requirements, are well managed and the impact on neighbours is considered and reduced.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Assist and support promoting, marketing and expanding the use of surplus capacity at City Hall and Trafalgar Square for commercial events to meet budgeted annual income targets. Update venue hire advice and information on the Authority’s internet and intranet pages relating to venue hire.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Provide reports and information and communicate relevant details about events and activities to senior staff, internal teams, contractors and other relevant stakeholders.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Carry out condition surveys pre and post events and oversee contractors during the build process to ensure contracted services are safely co-ordinated and any damage incurred is recorded and appropriate recovery action taken.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Work co-operatively with internal facility providers and production companies to ensure that the Authority’s event spaces are maintained and presented to a high standard and works and services are coordinated to support event delivery.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Participate in the production and delivery of events and activities organised by the Authority.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Support the Development and maintenance of finance and accounting systems relevant to the areas of responsibility, including the generation of reports.</li>

<li>Support the development of guidelines, standards, policies and practices to improve the management and control of events.</li>

<li>Perform the role of a duty building manager, monitoring the general functioning and safety of the building and events, liaising with specialist service suppliers, relevant Facilities Managers and addressing any issues that need resolving or that are emerging. This will mainly focus on immediate operational needs and taking responsibility for events that take place in City Hall. This will mean having operational management control over other FM disciplines such as Reception/Helpdesk, Catering, Cleaning, Porterage, Broadcasting and Maintenance.</li>

<li>Carry out the duties of a Greater London Authority (GLA) warranted Enforcement Officer in relation to Trafalgar Square and Parliament Square and when required prepare evidence for prosecutions under the byelaws and Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011. Attending court to give evidence as necessary.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Participate as a member of the command and control cadre for emergencies and incidents and participate in the out of hours Duty Officer management rota for the Authorities premises at City Hall, Union Street, Trafalgar Square and Parliament Square Gardens.</li>

<li>Manage resources allocated to the job in accordance with the Authority’s policies and Code of Ethics and Standards</li>

To be considered for the role you must meet the following essential criteria:

<li>Experience of managing events, functions or hospitality services in high profile organisation or customer led environment, where multi-tasking and working under pressure to tight deadlines is required.

<li>Experience of performing the landlord function in relation to venue hire and event delivery, managing multiple processes and events across different spaces.

<li>Experience of promoting and marketing high profile venues and income generation, including updating or creating internet material.

Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to create a relaxed and friendly environment during classes. <h2>About the role</h2>As a Social Worker you will support the delivery of statutory duties placed upon us by the Care Act carrying and other tasks related to the provision of Mental Health Services. These duties will relate to individuals, families and carers in accordance with relevant statutory legislation.&nbsp;We are looking for someone with relevant experience of holding complex casework, someone who has high professional standards and who is keen to continue their professional development. An excellent knowledge of current legislation such as the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act is essential.Community Mental Health Services in Brighton &amp; Hove has a well-established Section 75 (S.75) agreement in place. This agreement contributes to the improvement in mental health and wellbeing and results in easier access to a more responsive mental health service.The S.75 agreement between Brighton and Hove City Council and Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust has been in place for many years and has meant several Social Care staff have been co-located within the Trust to deliver statutory duties. &nbsp;This way of working in close partnership has been valued by both organisations, and by those that use our services, and this new agreement seeks to maintain and strengthen this collaborative way of working.The S.75 agreement serves as a significant tool in achieving the ambitions to transform adults and older adults’ community mental health services and reduce health inequalities.&nbsp;In practice, Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Brighton and Hove City Council delegate tasks to each organisation to ensure a joined-up health and social care offer to those that use our services. Relevant training and support will be provided when acting on behalf of the other organisation and it also means that you're able to access a number of other training, learning and development opportunities from both organisationsWarranted Approved Mental health Act Professionals (AMHPs) will be encouraged to take part in the rota arrangements for the AMHP provision across the city. The AMHP service operates from the AMHP team’s base at Millview Hospital in Hove. A market supplement of £3500 p.a. is paid for 30 days a year on this rota, subject to satisfactory adherence to the 2008 Regulations for AMHPs.You will receive regular supervision and support and have opportunities for ongoing development and specialist training including AMHP training, subject to the Local Authority’s selection process.The post holder will be responsible for:<ul>
<li>Providing advice to staff about proportionate and personalised responses to service users and their carers.</li>
<li>Helping to embed consideration of strengths and relationship based practice in all of our assessment processes.</li>
