You will be part of a leadership team overseeing communications professionals in promoting DHSC policies and priorities, while managing the day-to-day operations of our 24-hour media service, responding to breaking news as well as designing creative, original, and proactive media announcements.</p><p>You should be an experienced communicator with a strong news sense and excellent judgement who can hit the ground running. This role will be pivotal in leading a review of NMAC policy, supporting assurance activity with advice on policy application and working with stakeholders across MOD and with our suppliers.</p><p>This post is advertised at 37 hours per week.</p><h4>Job description</h4><p>NMAC policy exists to establish effective measures for accounting for and securing certain material critical to the current and future operation of the Defence Nuclear Enterprise. The core purpose of this role is to review, develop, publish, and maintain NMAC Policy. The role will also provide support to NMAC assurance activity.
