This supports young people (18-21) with barriers to entering employment beyond what existing services currently offer. This project will be externally valuated, co-produced with young people and lead the way for change for our young people that risk exclusion from the working world. This work sits within the Wider Determinants of Health team and supports the development and implementation of work linking to the Council’s Public Health strategy.Working in a team with a Health Improvement Practitioner and a Youth Employment Officer (grade 9) - the post holder will provide effective support to design and deliver the Youth Trailblazer Pilot. They will work with community and public health partners and stakeholders to engage a cohort, deliver the project and support evaluation with an external partner.The right candidate needs to be able to demonstrate that they are passionate about reducing health inequalities – especially for young adults, tackling the wider determinants of health, and promoting wellbeing in Derbyshire. We are a long-term generic adult team, working with people from 18 (or approaching 18 for transition cases) and their carers, covering the South of Amber Valley. The people we work with have social care needs resulting from a range of disabilities people with learning disability and autism, physical disability, and dementia. We are seeking a dedicated Arboricultural Officer to join our team and help manage and enhance our town’s diverse tree stock across parks, open spaces, public and housing land. Regular site visits and monitoring of collection rounds is a crucial part of the role.We are looking for a customer focused, enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join our small friendly team.&nbsp;You must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to liaise effectively with a range of organisations, provide mediation and to make decisions. Great information technology and written communication skills are also a must.You must be passionate about recycling and will need to have basic knowledge of the waste industry and an understanding of the key aspects of working with the public.
