Key responsibilities:

Shift Pattern:&nbsp;37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday on a rota working 09:00 - 17:00, you may also be required to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays. You will also take part in our out of hours on call rota for managers.
About the role
This is a great opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Wembley. You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements, while also assisting the SM with service monitoring, development, and delivery. When required, the DSM will act on behalf of the Service Manager. All responsibilities are carried out in line with SIG’s policies, procedures, commissioner requirements, and the organisation’s theory of change, ensuring the service remains flexible and responsive to participants’ needs.

Ideally, we want an experienced cook, that has a background in working in a commercial kitchen and have food hygiene level 2 qualifications or above. &nbsp;
We need someone that can help, transform, modernise and inspire our community members. This will include providing a short order snack offer and cooking a daily wholesome choice of hot tasty meals and a selection of puddings. We also provide meals for special events and hirers should they need a small buffet or sandwiches.&nbsp;
You must have the ability to keep the kitchen and equipment clean, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and health and hygiene.&nbsp;
We follow the safer foods better business management systems in all our kitchens, and the cook would be responsible for keeping these records up to date.&nbsp;
We work with a dedicated team of volunteers, who will work alongside you to deliver the service, by helping serve meals, and in some instances, they may provide help in the kitchen, under your supervision.
