Overview of the Post
Job Overview: The Headteacher/Head of School is the strategic and operational leader responsible for the overall direction, development, and day-to-day management of the school. This leadership role is pivotal in shaping a culture of excellence, fostering academic achievement, and nurturing the wellbeing of every member of the school community.
Upholding and promoting the shared values and high standards of WRAP, the Head of School is expected to lead by example in embodying the vision and ethos of the organisation. Working closely with the Directors, the Head of School ensures quality assurance, continuous school improvement, and the effective sharing of best practice across the wider organisation.
The role requires a commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and purposeful learning environment and to fostering strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external stakeholders. In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, the Head of School is expected to demonstrate flexibility and professionalism in undertaking any other reasonable duties as directed by the Directors, in line with the expectations of a senior leadership role.
Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership
● Develop, articulate and implement a clear and ambitious vision for the school, in collaboration with governors, staff, and other stakeholders.

● Represent the school professionally and confidently in local and national forums, maintaining and enhancing its reputation for excellence.
<h4>2. Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum</h4>
● Lead the design and implementation of a broad, balanced, and inclusive curriculum that reflects the diverse needs of learners and prepares them for the future.
● Promote a culture of high expectations and ensure consistent, high-quality teaching across all key stages.
● Use data effectively to drive pupil progress and attainment, identifying and addressing areas of underperformance through timely intervention.

Kingsway Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and committed team. The role involves working with groups of children, or individuals, both inside and outside of the classroom. We are seeking candidates who are willing to learn and can offer patience, resourcefulness and resilience and who can completely commit to the values and ethos of our inclusive school. Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs would be advantageous.

Teaching Assistant Level 2 / Welfare Assistant

The Governors are looking to appoint a committed Teaching Assistant Level 2.&nbsp;
The contract is fixed term until 31st August 2026 due to funding.&nbsp;&nbsp;
The TA2 contract is for 32.5 hours per week and will be 8.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday. The Welfare contract is for 2.5 hours per week and is for 30 minutes per day, plus a 30 minute lunch break.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting pupil’s emotional well-being, with experience in providing one-on-one or small group interventions and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
You will work collaboratively within the school pastoral team following school policies and procedures. You will provide emotional and social support whilst delivering tailored ELSA interventions. Liaising with parents is key to this role to ensure they are kept informed about their child’s progress, and to collaborate on strategies to support their emotional well-being.
