<h2>About the role</h2>An exciting, fixed term, full-time specialist practitioner position has become available. One of the posts will likely sit entirely within the multi-disciplinary Alternative Provision Taskforce and the other split between this taskforce and the BHISS Social, Emotional and Mental Health Team (SEMH), which currently operates as the city’s behaviour outreach service for 0–16-year-olds. &nbsp;BHISS-SEMH offers support, advice, trainings as well as direct in-school interventions for children whose behaviours are likely to mean they are at risk of suspension. Our key aims are to reduce fixed term suspensions; maintain children’s mainstream placement as well as develop colleagues’ capacity to manage challenge. We also offer a variety of bespoke trainings and forums for staff, both 1-1 and small groups, to discuss challenge as well as devise clear programmes of support for referred children. The ability to ably represent the team at multi-disciplinary meetings across the city is vital.&nbsp;BHISS is located at the Portslade Hub. As an Assistant SEND Officer (Tribunals), you&nbsp;will be responsible for supporting the Resolutions and Tribunals Officers to deliver statutory assessments of children and young people. As an Assistant SEND Officer (Tribunals) you will draw on your excellent written and spoken English as the work involves significant amounts of writing emails and letters and working with families and professionals in- person, in virtual meetings and on the telephone. You will have strong administrative skills as well as previous experience in similar posts.

We are looking to appoint 3 X Level 2 Teaching Assistants with SEND support.&nbsp; Three posts are available.&nbsp; To start September 2025.
Main Duties&nbsp; To work with and supervise groups of children or individual pupils under the direction of the class teacher/senior staff, inclusive of specific individual learning needs, enabling access to learning for all pupils.
To ssist and support with classroom routines, behaviour management, preparation of work and the learning environment.&nbsp;

<li>Can work effectively as part of a dedicated team, has excellent communication skills and is committed to building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents;</li>
<li>Able to support pupils who have additional needs.</li>

Swim Wirral Instructors
About the Role: 
Active Wirral is seeking suitability trained, Level 2 Swimming Instructors to become part of our lesson deliver team.
The role will involve front line swimming lesson delivery to a variety of leisure stakeholders to include Swim Wirral, Aqua Tots and Adult Learn to Swim customers.
There are a variety of hours available from 10 hours per week up to 17.5 hours per week, working at the following Active Wirral Leisure Centres, Europa Pools, West Kirby Concourse, The Oval &amp; Leasowe Leisure Centre.
Swim Wirral lessons are delivered over 42 weeks per year.
About the candidate:
This is an exciting opportunity, and the successful candidate will be professional, ambitious, accountable and resident focused delivering a high standard of customer service to leisure centres and users along with all other stakeholders.
Swimming Wirral Instructors should be willing to work flexible hours across all leisure centres which may include evenings and weekend.
