<h2>About the team and role</h2>
The Liberal Democrat Group scrutinises the work of the Mayor across the policy areas of transport, housing, environment, policing, health, the economy, planning and regeneration, fire and emergency planning, and the Mayor’s multi-billion pound budget. Applications are invited from candidates with extensive press and media experience in a busy office and of working for elected representatives or similar high profile public individuals.
Your role will involve working closely with the team’s Senior Researcher who leads on communications and the two Research and Support Officers, including setting and co-ordinating the day-to-day work of the team. You will need to liaise with external stakeholders to ensure that the work of the group is represented and promoted through a variety of media, both proactively and reactively promoting the work of the Assembly Members.&nbsp; An in-depth knowledge and understanding of a variety of media is vital.

<li>Demonstrable research skills, to enable quick and effective grasp of information from a range of sources on a wide range of policy topics, and proven experience of policy briefing in a political/ public sector organisation.</li>
<li>Organisational awareness: Understanding and being sensitive to organisational dynamics, culture and politics across and beyond the GLA and shaping our approach accordingly.</li>

The coordinator network is central to this ambition, linking our Intelligence Team with the wider law enforcement community.
Law enforcement partners, such as Trading Standards are and will continue to be a key player in tackling IP crime and infringement and we would like proactive and enthusiastic people to play a part in this. The successful candidate will work closely with Trading Standards, Police and other law enforcement agencies to ensure the threat of IP crime is recognised and understood, they have the support required to coordinate a response and can access knowledge and advice. They will also work closely with the IPO’s Intelligence Team on Intelligence collection, developing investigations and disseminating cases to law enforcement for adoption.
Additional Information The coordinator role will focus on supporting Trading Standards regions of South-East England, London and East England.
The role advertised will be carried out remotely within the nominated regions based in and around the South/Southeast of England, although attendance at IPO offices in Newport, South Wales will be required a minimum of once per quarter.

This is a busy, demanding but exciting role, which will join our existing team of five coordinators covering all other UK nations and internationally. The successful candidate will be a true champion for intellectual property rights and robust enforcement of criminal infringement. You will work closely with partners to help them understand, investigate and coordinate enforcement activity, as well as being a crucial partner in supporting success of the IPO’s Intelligence Gateway, by bringing in intelligence, liaising with partners and working with them on the adoption of IPO developed investigations.

This is a major shift as we transition to making this way of working ‘Business As Usual,’ thereby improving air quality and well-being for Londoners.
Your focus will be on managing a portfolio of collaborative streetworks projects, making use of strong project management, organisational and communication skills to take collaborative streetworks projects from ‘start to finish’, and reporting on them to management, funders and stakeholders within industry. This is a critical delivery role within a fast-moving team, with high levels of external engagement, especially with utilities, contractors and highway authorities. The right candidate will be able to manage an evolving pipeline of projects, by laying out a plan, proactively engaging stakeholders, and overcoming delivery roadblocks with problem solving and sensitive, persuasive communication. Project reporting to internal and external stakeholders, ie communications, governance and record keeping are also critical components in the day-to-day delivery of the Streets programme.

Positive Change Service – the domestic abuse intervention service for LBTH Children’s Social Care – is seeking a permanent Lead Safety Worker to work with perpetrators of domestic abuse. This post is specified for a male worker as per an occupational requirement to enable us to use mix-gender co-facilitators in our groupwork with fathers.Positive Change Service delivers psycho-educational interventions with perpetrators, survivors and children impacted by domestic abuse. Here at North Kent College, we are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our busy Dartford team as a Learning Support Practitioner (LSP). As an LSP, you’ll play a key role in supporting students to achieve their full potential in their chosen course on either a 1:1 basis or working with learners in small groups, across a variety of curriculum areas including English and Maths.
As part of the support you provide to these learners, you will be required to go on external visits and/or work placements where applicable. On occasion there may be a need for this role to support with pastoral support and personal care, full training will be provided as required. Other responsibilities will include ensuring the completion of administrative work, keeping records up to date and support the College with access arrangements for exams, including invigilation as required.
As an LSP, you will be a team player who has a flexible, can-do approach to their work. You will be experienced in adapting your communication style to suit each individual learner and their unique profile.

Here at North Kent College, we are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our busy Dartford team as a Learning Support Practitioner (LSP). As an LSP, you’ll play a key role in supporting students to achieve their full potential in their chosen course on either a 1:1 basis or working with learners in small groups, across a variety of curriculum areas including English and Maths.
As part of the support you provide to these learners, you will be required to go on external visits and/or work placements where applicable. On occasion there may be a need for this role to support with pastoral support and personal care, full training will be provided as required. Other responsibilities will include ensuring the completion of administrative work, keeping records up to date and support the College with access arrangements for exams, including invigilation as required.
As an LSP, you will be a team player who has a flexible, can-do approach to their work. You will be experienced in adapting your communication style to suit each individual learner and their unique profile.

GLA staff are hybrid working up to 3 days a week in our offices and remotely depending on their role. As part of this, you will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office.

Be part of our successful Council Tax team to compile and maintain records of our 100,000 properties across Sevenoaks and Dartford districts.
Our team are responsible for dealing with all aspects of Council Tax, from administration and billing to recovery and enforcement. You’ll be responsible for answering telephone enquiries covering all aspects of Council Tax and responding to emails and letters received from our customers.
If you have a customer service or retail background, a passion to deliver excellent customer service and the ability to stay calm under pressure then we would love to hear from you!
This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days).
