At DHU Healthcare, every role matters. Because every moment gives us the chance to make the difference – for patients, colleagues and communities. Wherever you join us, your compassion, commitment and skills will not only make all the difference in the moment today but also shape the care we deliver tomorrow.

With us, care never stops.

At DHU Healthcare, our GP Out of Hours service across Northamptonshire plays a vital role in delivering urgent care when patients need it most. Our clinicians work at the frontline of the NHS, providing safe, effective and compassionate care outside of core GP hours.

Within this service, clinicians undertake a varied and rewarding role, including telephone triage and clinical assessment, face-to-face consultations within our bases, and home visiting to support patients who are unable to attend a clinical setting. You will be part of a skilled and supportive multi-disciplinary team, working collaboratively to assess, diagnose and manage patients, ensuring they receive the most appropriate care and outcome.

We support a diverse patient population and are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across the county. With DHU, you will be supported to succeed in your role, your professional development, and your career.

As an Advanced Practitioner (Nurse, Paramedic or Pharmacist) (NMC, HCPC, GPhC) with prescribing rights and advanced clinical skills, you will deliver hands-on care across urgent care settings, assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients alongside multi-disciplinary teams to achieve the best possible outcomes.

For you, because great care starts with a supported team.

We’ll support your health, happiness and future with benefits that put you first:

  • Access to the NHS pension scheme (we’ll also honour your existing NHS pension pot and holiday entitlement if you’re transferring)
  • Wellbeing support
  • Flexible working options
  • Career growth and development opportunities

For more information of the full range of benefits available, please reach out to our team.

For you, the support to go further.

With us, development is part of our culture. From essential training and apprenticeships to supportive leadership and career pathways, we’ll help you grow in ways that matter to you. Because when our people thrive, so do our patients and communities.

For you, a place where you can be yourself.

We believe that when everyone feels valued, respected and supported, we can deliver the best care. We’re proud to reflect the rich diversity of the communities we serve, welcoming colleagues from all backgrounds. We proudly support Veterans, Service Leavers, Reservists, Cadet Volunteers, and military families, valuing their strength and dedication.

At DHU Healthcare, your skills, ideas and growth matter.

Join us and be part of something bigger.
