The post is for a two-year fixed period and the postholder will be part of the Public Health Team, working under the guidance of the Qualitative Insight Programme Manager.</p>\n<p>Drawing on your specialist knowledge and experience in research, you will be responsible for designing and conducting robust analysis for a variety of insight research projects and wider thematic analysis. This includes the development of research analysis methodology including analysis of data through meaningful inferences, text analysis, coding and indexing, data structuring and labelling. The postholder will be required to work routinely in close collaboration with the four qualitative researchers and senior officers to support the design and delivery of robust outcome-focused insight and research projects for a variety of behaviour change interventions.</p>\n<p>The postholder will be expected to apply academic knowledge and skills, while working pragmatically with consideration for organisational cultures and resource constraints. The role will require proactive and effective joined up working across the Qualitative Insight Team, as well as close working with the Public Health Intelligence Team, Public Health Delivery Team and other members of the Public Health Team.</p>\n<p>Key areas of responsibility include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Development of research analysis methodology for the projects including analysis of data through meaningful inferences, text analysis, coding, and indexing, structuring and labelling data.
