What is the job role?

The Participation Team currently works to support and empower children and young people to have a voice about the decisions that affect them. This Participation Worker role will particularly focus on the participation of parents and carers, empowering them to have a voice, alongside children and young people, in how we plan, deliver and evaluate services.

The Participation Team works alongside colleagues in the development of policy and practice to ensure children and young people are kept at the centre of Children’s and Education services, and play a key role in driving Child Friendly Cov. Key to our relational Family Valued Practice Approach is how we value family and work alongside them, and this role will support in ensuring that the voice of parents and carers supports in shaping practice and service delivery.

This role is fixed term until March 2029.

All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role.
