Grade: E
Contract Type: Fixed Term (2 Years)

About the Role

Good communication can help people make informed choices, improve their wellbeing and access the support they need, and that's where you come in. We're looking for a Communications and Engagement Officer (Public Health) who can turn important health messages into clear, engaging content that people want to read, watch and act on.

Based in our Communications Team and working closely with Public Health colleagues, you'll deliver campaigns and engagement activity that support healthier lifestyles, reduce health inequalities and encourage residents to get involved in issues that matter to them. You will enjoy building relationships and working with colleagues, partners and communities to achieve shared goals. You'll be organised, able to manage competing priorities and confident using insight to help shape communications and improve results.

Most importantly, you will be passionate about helping residents access the information and support they need to live healthier, happier lives.
