The children, staff and Governors of Cambridge Road School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to be part of our team. Cambridge Road is a mainstream school however experience of working with children with additional learning needs would be an advantage. The role will involve supporting children to become independent and co-operative learners, and identify and remove barriers to students’ learning. The post-holder will need to hold a relevant Teaching Assistant NVQ Level 3 qualification, achieved through a recognised training provider.
The successful candidate will join a highly experienced and skilled team who work tirelessly to unlock potential for pupils with social, emotional and mental health issues. A new national Building Safety Levy is being introduced in October this year. &nbsp;The post holder will have the opportunity to help put the systems for the management and collection of the levy in place and to be responsible for administering the assessment and collection of the levy.
The post holder will need to have the aptitude to help set up procedures for administering the levy and will need to have the ability to read plans and undertake calculations to assess the amount of payment to be made. Good analytical and accounting skills will be needed.
