Our dedicated clinicians and support staff work together to deliver patient-centred care, ensuring every patient receives the right care at the right time. As a GP Assistant you will:

Manage clinical documentation by processing incoming correspondence through Anima, accurately coding patient records, scanning and uploading documents, and ensuring timely clinical and administrative follow-up.
Provide comprehensive administrative support, including typing clinical correspondence, processing referrals via ERS, handling SARs, DVLA and insurance requests, carrying out system searches, and maintaining accurate patient records on SystmOne.
Coordinate communication with hospitals, community services, patients, and colleagues, responding to enquiries efficiently and providing telephone support when required.
Maintain high standards of quality and compliance by meeting document management targets, adhering to DHU Healthcare policies, safeguarding patient confidentiality, and reporting any issues or incidents promptly.
Support the wider practice team by assisting clinical staff with administrative tasks, maintaining an organised working environment, participating in ongoing professional development, and undertaking additional duties to meet operational needs.
