Dartford Borough Council have over 4000 social homes throughout the local area. Complementing our existing service, this role has been created to provide a service lead to manage compliance.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Housing Compliance Manager to join our team and to lead and manage compliance across our housing maintenance service. The position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative environment, develop your skills and contribute to achieving our service goals.&nbsp;
This is a key role ensuring that Dartford Borough Council meets all statutory and regulatory requirements relating to housing health and safety, including gas, electrical, fire safety, water hygiene, and asbestos management.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust compliance frameworks, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement to keep our residents safe and our properties compliant.
As a landlord we currently have responsibility for buildings up to 11m in height, with no dwellings above this height. As the postholder you will have responsibility to oversee a team of compliance surveyors, a compliance officer and administrator.

We are looking to appoint a Learning support assistant who is enthusiastic and patient.
