The Role
We are looking for a Neighbourhood Coordinator to support the Neighbourhood Officer and wider team in providing a highly visible, customer-focused housing service. You’ll play a vital role in tenancy management, income recovery, estate inspections, and ensuring communal areas meet our high standards.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Supporting tenants via phone and email, and maintaining up-to-date records on our systems.
Coordinating estate inspections and liaising with the maintenance and repairs team.
Assisting with lettings, void inspections, and tenancy audits.
Addressing low-level ASB, harassment, and neighbour disputes.
Working with tenants on rent arrears recovery and income maximisation.
Supporting housing projects and maintaining accurate data to monitor service standards.

What We’re Looking For
We want someone who is customer-focused, organised, and adaptable. Ideally, you’ll have:

A willingness to work towards a Level 2 in Housing Studies if not already held.

The Housing and Land directorate is responsible for the Mayor’s plans to deliver new and improved homes and strong communities. &nbsp;Working closely with boroughs and partners, we manage the Mayor’s housing investment programmes and land and property assets to support the building of affordable homes, job creation and regeneration.

 About the team</h2>
The Land and Development team is within the Housing and Land Directorate. The Land and Development team supports GLA Land and Property Limited (GLAP), which is the Greater London Authority’s commercial subsidiary for property investment, development and assessment management. The team is responsible with the delivery of the GLAP portfolio of development on the Mayor’s land and joint venture interests, alongside entering into new opportunities to unlock development outcomes. &nbsp;
GLAP aims to deliver up to a total of 68,000 new homes on the Mayor’s land and joint venture interests, including homes delivered to date and looking ahead over the next 25 years.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Some of GLAP’s schemes include some of London’s largest regeneration projects, such as Royal Docks, Greenwich Peninsula and Barking Riverside. Sites are typically large-scale and mixed-use multi-phased development projects, working with our development partners collaboratively under development agreement delivery structures. While most sites are in contract with partners, others are in procurement, such as Royal Albert Dock. In addition to development land, GLAP holds a significant estate with investment properties, operational property and public realm.

<h2>About the role</h2>
This is a leadership role, ensuring that GLA Land and Property Limited (GLAP) is actively contributing to the delivery of Mayoral environmental sustainability and social value priorities and commitments. The role actively works across the GLA family delivery organisations, supporting collaboration and sharing of learning across the GLA group, with developers and to policy teams.
The Senior Sustainability Manager leads the implementation of GLAP’s Climate Action Strategy ensuring that it achieves its strategic goals and objectives. The role plays a strategic role in embedding sustainability requirements and outcomes in strategic development projects and estate management. The role leads on embedding climate risk management practices within GLAP ensuring that GLAP is resilient to the impacts of climate change.
<h2>What your day will look like</h2>
<ul>
<li>Lead, working across GLAP, implementation, delivery and reporting against GLAP’s climate action strategy including capturing and monitoring GLAP’s emissions through the inventory model.</li>
<li>Initiate, develop and oversee development of additional guidance documents as required to facilitate/ensure the delivery of GLAP’s objectives.</li>
<li>Lead implementation of GLAP’s development standards, metrics and reporting including the integration of requirements and outcomes within future GLAP development projects, across residential and commercial projects.</li>
<li>Develop innovative/joined up delivery of climate actions securing/benefits to GLAP’s business plan.</li>
<li>Lead implementation of GLAP’s climate risk management and climate resilience and adaptation plan including keeping the climate risk assessment up to date and ensuring inclusion within decision making and broader risk management.</li>
<li>Leads coordination of GLAP’s climate budget and quarterly reporting in partnership with GLAP’s Finance Director and the wider team.</li>

Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>To undertake the core administrative activities for contract management including overseeing provider due diligence checks, managing communication with providers when notifying of changes to contracts, managing requests and coordinating arrangements required in relation to new contracts and changes to existing contracts.</li>
<li>To support the Senior Contract Manager- Adults in the delivery of the Contract Management Framework for Adult Social Care.</li>
<li>Track expiring contracts and coordinate the actions required, liaising with the assigned contract lead, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Commissioners.</li>
<li>Act as Contract Lead for contracts under the responsibility of Strategy, Commissioning and Performance with an annual value of c.£20,000 or less, undertaking day-to-day contract management and supplier relationship management activities throughout the contract lifecycle.</li>
<li>To manage customer issues effectively, providing excellent customer care and delivering improved outcomes for customers, including internal colleagues and external which will mainly be commissioned providers.</li>

Penrose Enfield is a vibrant care and rehabilitation service, offering 21 beds in a 24 hour supported accommodation to adults with complex mental health needs. You will join a team which consists of a Service Manager, Deputy Service Manager, a day team of 10, and a night team of 4. As a Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will play a key role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery, reablement, and rehabilitation, providing person centred and trauma informed support in a psychologically informed environment (PIE), to empower residents to achieve their goals and improve their well-being. Here, you’ll support individuals transitioning from complex care or acute mental health services to a structured rehabilitation setting. Working closely with the mental health trust community rehabilitation team, you’ll help residents overcome challenging behaviour's and support medication compliance, making a real difference every day. About the role
We are seeking a Dual Diagnosis Worker who has a specialism in mental health and substance use to join our team in Croydon. You will be based within a residential service which provides specialist mental health, complex needs, and dual diagnosis support to our residents. Within this role, you will provide specialist knowledge and experience to support the wider team and residents to help them to overcome their personal barriers.
You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills. You will be a specialist in comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of your duties will include:

<li>Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.</li>
<li>Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.</li>
<li>Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.</li>
<li>Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.</li>
<li>Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
About you
We are looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with experience in interventions, and in a similar role. Qualifications are desirable if paired with practical experience which is relevant to this role. We look at individual characteristics with the ability to engage with various people who may not want to receive the support, able to build trusting professional relationships, and able to demonstrate resilience, solve challenges, and be proactive. Location:&nbsp;Based within a residential service across 4 sites in Croydon. (Walking distance from East Croydon train and tram links). Unfortunately this service does not have step free access.
Salary:&nbsp;£29,000
Shift Pattern:&nbsp;12 month fixed term contract, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday working between 10:00 - 18:00. Hours may vary depending on service needs.&nbsp;
About the role
We are seeking a Dual Diagnosis Worker who has a specialism in mental health and substance use to join our team in Croydon. You will be based within a residential service which provides specialist mental health, complex needs, and dual diagnosis support to our residents. Within this role, you will provide specialist knowledge and experience to support the wider team and residents to help them to overcome their personal barriers.
You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills. You will be a specialist in comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of your duties will include:
<ul>
<li>Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.</li>
<li>Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.</li>
<li>Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.</li>
<li>Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.</li>
<li>Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
About you
We are looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with experience in interventions, and in a similar role. Qualifications are desirable if paired with practical experience which is relevant to this role. We look at individual characteristics with the ability to engage with various people who may not want to receive the support, able to build trusting professional relationships, and able to demonstrate resilience, solve challenges, and be proactive. To this end, Development Viability plays an integral part within the planning process and the delivery of affordable housing/developer contributions.The Team - Tower Hamlets Viability (THV)To ensure Tower Hamlets is best placed to address matters relating to development viability, the council has created a dedicated team to assess development appraisals and provide advice to planning officers and politicians.THV is an internal council service &amp; a fee earning commercial service providing specialist development viability advice to both the planning department at LBTH as well as other planning authorities (primarily within London). The team holds professional expertise in development viability/valuation and relevant RICS accreditation (qualified chartered status) and is led by Olivia D’Mello-Browning. Experience held within the team is vast with private and public sector backgrounds. THV has also been shortlisted as a finalist in this years Local Government Chronicles (LGC) award 2024 as Small Team of the Year.Viability Officers/Surveyors are involved in several areas of work including (not limited to):<ul>
